• A folder, also called a directory, is a space used to store files, other


folders, and shortcuts on a computer.

• A file is an object on a computer that stores data, information,


settings, or commands used with a computer program. On a computer
there are three types of files, application files, data files, and system
files.
CACHE

• Pronounced like the physical form of money (cash), cache is a high-


speed access area that's a reserved section of main memory or an area
on the storage device.

• Is the position of a text or paragraph in document. Whether it is justified, right align, left

• Alternatively known as an address bus, data bus, or local bus,


a bus is a connection between components or devices connected to
a computer. For example, a bus carries data between a CPU and the
system memory via the motherboard. Like buses, a computer bus
transmits data from one location or device to another location or device
COMPUTER REGISTER

• They are a type of computer memory used to quickly accept, store, and transfer
data and instructions that are being used immediately by the CPU.
• When referring to a CPU (central processing unit) and memory, the
terms internal register, or register refer to the group of latches that
store a single character. When referring to a registers size or the
amount of bits in a register it is known as the register's width.

measuring the waves or frequencies of electric changes each second.
Hertz is commonly used to measure a computer monitor's refresh
rate and a computer processor's speed.
DATABASE

• Alternatively referred to as a databank or a datastore, and


sometimes abbreviated as a DB, a database is a large quantity of
indexed digital information.

consists of columns and rows.

• Page orientation is the direction in which a document is displayed or printed. The


two basic types of page orientation are portrait (vertical) and landscape
(horizontal).

• This is an electronic document in which data is arranged in the rows and columns
of a grid and can be manipulated and used in calculations.
WORD PROCESSING

• A word processor is a device or computer program that provides for input, editing,
formatting, and output of text, often with additional features.
