6. Alarms
High temp. alarm
When the chamber temperature is equal or higher than set temperature +
high temp. alarm set temperature + 0.09, ALARM lamp and temperature
display blink, buzzer sounds intermittently and remote alarm turns on after
delay time elapses.
High temp. alarm set temperature: +5℃ (default)
Delay time: 15 minutes (default)
When the chamber temperature is equal or lower than set temperature,
ALARM lamp goes off, temperature display stops blinking, buzzer stops
sounding and remote alarm turns off.
You can cancel the buzzer and remote alarm operation by pressing
BUZZER key during high temp. alarm.

Low temp. alarm When the chamber temperature is equal or lower than set temperature -
low temp. alarm set temperature - 0.09, ALARM lamp and temperature
display blink, buzzer sounds intermittently and remote alarm turns on after
delay time elapses.
High temp. alarm set temperature: -5℃ (default)
Delay time: 15 minutes (default)
When the chamber temperature is equal or higher than set temperature,
ALARM lamp goes off, temperature display stops blinking, buzzer stops
sounding and remote alarm turns off.
You can cancel the buzzer and remote alarm operation by pressing
BUZZER key during low temp. alarm.

0℃ alarm When the chamber temperature is lower than 0.0, ALARM lamp and
temperature display blink, buzzer sounds intermittently, remote alarm turns
on without delay.
When the chamber temperature is equal or higher than 0.0, ALARM lamp
goes off, temperature display stops blinking, buzzer stops sounding and
remote alarm turns off.
You can cancel the buzzer and remote alarm operation by pressing
BUZZER key during 0℃ alarm.

0℃ alarm has the higher priority than low temp. alarm.

Chamber fan alarm When the chamber alarm temperature is higher than the sum of setting
(default 5℃) temperature, the chamber fan alarm setting value and 0.09, ALARM lamp
and numerical value LED blink. Then buzzer sounds intermittently and
remote alarm is turn on after passing delay time 8default 15 min) .

When the chamber fan alarm temperature is or lower than the setting
temperature, ALARM lamp turns off, the display LED blinks and, buzzer
sound and remote alarm is turn off.
You can cancel the buzzer and remote alarm operation by pressing
BUZZER key during the information,
The chamber fan alarm setting value is same value as the high
temperature alarm se value on default. (default is set by F01, then the
lower limit is 5℃)
When the chamber alarm setting value is changed the independent setting
to valid “001” by F41, you can set the alarm setting value independently by
F39. However, during the door open, alarm has not sound.
During pull-down, buzzer has sounded and remote alarm has turn off.
However, Alarm lamp and the numerical value LED blink.
9. Compressor control

Compressor ON/OFF temperature (Differential point)

Compressor ON* When chamber temperature is equal to set temperature + 0.3℃
Compressor OFF When chamber temperature is equal to set temperature – 0.3℃
* Unit has 3 minutes delay time since the compressor is turned off, so the compressor is not
turned on even though the unit meets the above condition.

Compressor operation when temp. sensor is malfunction (E01, E02)

When temp. sensor is disconnected (E01) or short circuited (E02), compressor is controlled by
DEF sensor so that unit could keep chamber temperature in 5℃.
DEF sensor temp. to turn compressor ON DEF sensor temp. to turn compressor OFF
3.5℃ -3.5℃

Compressor protection
When comp. sensor reads 52℃ or higher, unit diagnoses compressor should stop operation.
When comp. sensor reads ambient temp. sensor value plus 10℃ or lower, unit diagnoses
compressor should start operation.

10. Defrosting
Mechanism
DEF sensor detects the temperature in evaporator pipe and unit diagnoses current should be
conducted to heater to defrost an evaporator.
During defrosting, compressor should stop operation, chamber temperature and “dF” are
alternately displayed.

By evaporator temperature
When DEF sensor temperature in evaporator reads equal or lower than -12℃, unit performs
defrosting.
When DEF sensor temperature in evaporator reads equal or higher than 5℃, unit stops
defrosting.

By other conditions
Unit performs defrosting if it meets the following conditions both (1) and (2).

(1) When compressor keeps running for 3 hours

(2) When DEF sensor temperature in evaporator reads lower than 0℃

The unit stops defrosting when DEF sensor temperature in evaporator reads equal or higher
than 5℃.
When the DEF sensor temperature in evaporator reads higher than 0℃ and the compressor
keeps running for 4 hours without defrosting, counting of compressor ON time is reset.

Condition to stop defrosting forcibly

When the chamber temperature is higher than set temperature +7.0℃ and DEF sensor
temperature is higher than the temperature to start defrosting, unit forcibly stops defrosting.
When this sequence repeats twice, unit never stops defrosting forcibly.

Frequency of defrosting
Unit can memorize frequency of forcible defrosting since the power is supplied.
You can check the frequency in the function mode, F36.
