Learning Outcome:
In this Batch of WordPress course, we are embarking on the journey to create a Personal Portfolio website
project through WordPress. This website will share your work experience worldwide and will help to attract
clients. The project is divided into four Hands-on-Exercises. The following tasks of Hands-On-Exercise #1
will serve as the starting point for our project's setup and development.
Problem statement:
According to the above Hands-On-Exercise description you are required to complete the following tasks to
start this WordPress project:
Tasks:
1. Register an account on a web hosting platform, whether it's a free or paid service, or alternatively,
set up and configure XAMPP/WAMP/Flywheel for a local development environment (Topic
no.07). Capture screenshots of your progress and include them in your solution file. (3 marks)
2. Install WordPress (Topic no.08) on either your web hosting account or localhost environment and
provide screenshots, showing the installation process, in your solution file. (3 marks)
3. Install and activate the Blocksy theme (Topic no.25) using the theme section of WordPress and
provide screenshots documenting the installation process in your solution file. (4 marks)
