Subject: Introducing the e425H Enterprise 802.11ac Wall Plate Access Point

1. Notice:
We are pleased to announce the immediate availability of the cnPilot™ e425H wall plate access point designed for hotel guest rooms, dormitory housing, multi-dwelling
units (MDU), or anywhere a quick-mount microcell Wi-Fi network is needed.

The cnPilot e425H is complementary to the e430H wall plate and offers partners a lower-cost option when high-density deployments may require one access point per
room. The e430H can be managed by cnMaestro™ running in the cloud, in a private data center, or on premises.

The e425H has the same industrial design as the e430H, with slight differences on the backside. The e425H shipping box will include a single-gang junction box bracket.
A dual-gang junction box bracket and a flush wall mount box are available as accessories.

Important: Do not announce the availability of the e425H until the public launch date of October 4, 2019.

The e425H fits into the Cambium portfolio as a micro-cell wall plate access point designed for one AP per room and other high-density micro-cell applications. Service
providers that engage the hospitality, apartment MDU, or higher education dormitory housing markets will appreciate the quick installation, hide-in-plain-sight design,
and outstanding RF performance. Additionally, the e425H includes three Gigabit Ethernet ports, where one port can function as a PoE-out port. This extra capability is
unique among competitive high-density micro-cell wall plate access points. When comparing the e425H to other wall plate access points, take note of the unique
features: PoE-out port, 2x to 6x more RF power, Enterprise RF-aware technology.

 5. FAQ:

Q Will this replace the e430W wall plate access point?

A Yes, the e425 can be considered a direct replacement of the e430W with some small differences. Note that the e425 has 3 GE ports rather than 4 GE ports as
found on the e430W.
Q Will this replace the e430H wall plate access point?
A. No, the e430H wall plate access point will offer a higher price point product with some additional features. The e430H offers an optional Desktop adapter for
small retail applications or remote worker applications. Also the e430H offers an additional GE port, an RJ45 pass through port, Deep Packet Inspection. The e425
and e430H will co-exist in the portfolio.
Q. What is the target market and application for the e425H?
A. The target markets are hotel guest rooms, dormitory housing with one AP per room, and similar MDU micro-cell applications.
Q. What is missing from the e425H to reach a low price point?
A. Application visibility will not be available on the e425H. If that feature is desired, please consider the e430H.
Q. Can I use the e425 with a desktop stand?
A. No, the back-plate design of the e425 is different than the e430H. Note that the e425 is a flat design without the RJ45 pass-through port. If you need to use an
access point with a desktop stand, we recommend the e430H.
