3. Market Opportunity
In the start we have a very good potential in our target market i.e. Rawalpindi and Islamabad. In the current situation there is no such business or boutique which is providing finished, branded, fashionable and modern dresses for all seasons round the year online. We are providing the latest prints of most famous exclusive brands like VANEZA, GUL AHMAD, VIDYAAN, FIRDOUS, NISHAT, BONANZA, and PREETO AND ASIM JOFA. We are targeting the middle to upper class initially who have sufficient amount of money to spend but dont have
sufficient time to spend for shopping and they also want quality fabric and fashionable dressing all around the year.
4. Competitors
There are no direct competitors to whom we are going to compete but there are tailors who are offering some services additionally like they buy laces and design the dresses according to their creativity. They add less value and charge premium pieces. So we are going to grasp this opportunity by launching this business.
5. Competitive Advantage
We are offering the ready made branded fabric for casual dressing to the consumers so we have first mover advantage in this field. But we know that this advantage is not long run advantage the others will definitely jump into this business when we launched our business. So we are planning to grasp the maximum share of this market in the first 6 months of launch by adopting different business improvement strategies. We will be having a complementary resource in the shape of contract with our suppliers of clothing that will prevent the new entrants to enter in the market. Our designers will also serve as the competitive edge because of our unique dress designs. The bulk buying of dresses laces and other accessories will help us to cut our cost per dress that will also become our advantage.
6. Market Strategy
We will be entering into the market the following methods a. We will place adds on the web sites of our suppliers and they will refer us to their consumers b. We will target the house wives and female managers of different organizations by stalling in respective organizations c. We will use the popular magazines for advertisement. d. We will target by using SMS marketing to the selected rich niche segment of the market e. Will target selected universities and selected beauty parlors of Rawalpindi and Islamabad to grasp the potential customers.
7. Organizational Development
The departments and their working will be organized under the following departments. a. HR and training dept b. Finance dept c. Marketing dept d. Consumer interaction dept
All the above stated departments will be handled by a team of two experts having MBA marketing and finance specialization with a background of fashion and designing. e. Design dept Two qualified dress designers will be hired for designing the desired demanded dresses for our consumers. f. Purchase dept A team of four members will be inter-acting the suppliers who will be responsible to purchase all fabric and accessories demanded by the designers and tailors. Two from these must have a background of fashion and textile industry and have BA, B.Sc or B.com degree and have strong communication and negotiation skills in order to present the company in front of the most important suppliers of the company the cloth providers. The other two men will be having at least 6 years experience of working as sales man in some lass center. g. Accessories collection dept One employee will be hired for this department who will collect the all accessories used in each dress from the design department. h. Dying unit One dying expert will be hired for this department who will dye all the Dupatas And other stuff as per designers demands.
i. Cutting unit Two tailor masters will be hired for this department who have at least 5 years of work experience as the tailor master. Whose job is to cut the cloths coming from accessories collection dept as per the designers instructions and send it to the stitching unit department. j. Stitching and embroidery unit Eight tailors will be hired who have expertise and experience to work as the boutique tailor for at least 5 years. Two embroidery experts with strong command and work experience of at least 8 years are required to do the embroidery related work. k. Packaging and courier service dept Two employees with minimum education of F.Sc, FA, I.Com or ICS with computer and written English skills will be hired. Their duties includes Interacting and coordinating with the courier service providers Packing of finished dresses, while making it sure that the right order is going to the right consumer. On time delivery to consumers Prepare and dispatch the bill of all services provided Responsible to write personalized thank you notes to the consumers and dispatch it on the dress box.
8. Management Team
A team of two managers of MBA marketing and finance specialization with a strong background of fashion and designing field will be hired to run the activities of HR, Finance dept, Business development dept, Marketing dept and Consumer interaction dept working with the coordination of the entrepreneur. They will be supervising the operations specially the cutting and stitching dept to ensure the quality of stitching and also work for quality control with the help of designers.
