Clobal manager Holliman quits Tbreadneedle for Polar Capital

Threadneedle global equities manager Andrew Holliman is leaving aIter seven years with the
Iirm to join Polar Capital.
It is understood Holliman will launch a new Iund at Polar Capital but the Iirm is yet to conIirm
any details. Holliman manages the Threadneedle American and AXP world equities Iunds.
Head oI US equities Cormac Weldon will take over as lead manager oI the Pounds 1.6bn
American Iund, assisted by Iund manager Stephen Moore.
Head oI global equities Jeremy Podger will run the Pounds 9.5m global extended alpha Iund,
helped by global equity Iund manager Steve Thornber.
The American Iund delivered a top-decile return oI 36.2 per cent over Iive years to May 6,
against the IMA North American sector average oI 20.4 per cent, according to Morningstar.
Threadneedle chieI investment oIIicer Mark Burgess says: "We are disappointed but we believe
Threadneedle's collab-orative, team-based approach underlies our successIul perIormance across
asset classes. Our US equities perIormance has been particularly strong under the leadership oI
