AFFIDAVIT FOR ARREST WARRANT.
‘The undersigned, being duly sworn, on his oath, states that he has reason to believe that on or about the 3 day of
May, 2024 in he Coury of Cary, Cy of Clovis Sate of New Mexico, the above-arnd defends id commit
the crime of:

contrary to law of the State of New Mexico.
‘The undersigned further states the following facts on oath to establish probable cause to believe that the above-
named defendant committed the crime charged:
(On May 3rd 2024, a approximately 1625 hours, Clovis Police Dispatch issued a tone alert fora subject down call for
‘the address of 700 CR 17 (Ned Houk Park) in Clovis NM. Clovis Dispetch advised the caller advised of two possible
adults to be deceased with a erying infant onthe ground. | activated ray emergency lights and sirens and responded to
the scene. arrived atthe entrance tothe park and took the north path. I drove up the path and observed a male waving
‘me down. Iobserved a iver in color Dodge van to be parked near atree located on the north path next toa playground.
Texited my unit and observed two young adult females to be deceased end laying on the ground. 1 also observed a
{female toddler to be laying on the ground as well. went to the child, spoke to her and checked for a pulse on her
‘wrist, The child began to respond to me. She would lifter head and attempt to speak tome. I observed the toddler to
‘be bleeding from her head and to be wearing one boot. I stayed with the child as 1 waited for other responding units
to.arrive [advised the callers, identifi as Jesse Narenjo and Michael Murphy to get in my vehicle to radio dispatch
and advise them of what I hed on scene. [elso asked the callers for any water to give tothe child as she appeared to
‘be there for quite some time and bad dry blood and dirt on her mouth. Jessie provided me with a bottle of water and
two seat cushions, to placs the child on. 1 provided water tothe child and she reacted by moving her mouth attempting
to drink the water, Other officers and EMS arrived on scene. I directed the ambulance to park near the child but slightly
away from the scene as to not disturb what I observed, Lt Loomis arrived and I advised him that I believed there was
1 possible wreck that occurred due to seeing what appeared to be a maroon in color vehicle part near the child. As
EMS began to tend tothe child, they lifted her shirt and I observed scrapes and scratches. The child was then placed
jn the ambulance and transported to the hospital (PRMC).
1 then looked over the scene and observed a baby bottle laying on the ground along with a stroller pushed up near the
rear of the silver minivan. I peered into the van and observed 2 carseat suitable for a toddler and another carseat
‘suitable for a baby. [also obsorved clothing and other items fora baby within the vehicle. I then began to search the
trea fora mall baby due to the items observed. I was unable to locate another child neazby.1 then went and spoke with the calles and another male who was parked nearby. fist spoke with Michael Murphy.
Michael stated he and Jesse were in town due to having a doctor's appointment. Michael stated he and Jesse had went
to the park prior to leaving back home. Michael stated he stayed within his vehicle as Jesse went fora walk around
the pond located nearby. Michael stated he was on the phone the eatie time as Jesse went for a walk. Michael stated
Jesse then approached him, coming back from his walk, stating he obsorved two females and a child to be laying on
‘the ground neer a silver van. Michael stated he approached the fermales and child, in his vehicle, while keeping a
distance and honked his horn attempting to get a response from them. Michael stated there was no response from the
‘Beople laying on the ground, so they contacted 911 to advise them of what they saw.
1 then spoke with Jesse, Jesse gave me a similar statement to what Michael provided. Jesse stated he and Michect
arrived atthe park end he went fora walk eround the pond as Michael stayed inthe vehicle. Jesse stated as he returned
from the walk, he observed two females and a child to be laying on the ground next to a grey van. Jesse staled he
