TIMELINE Since 2019 Physlite starts working with farmers to

testify the effect of Physlite Lighting Program for
modern Poultry farming. After several years’
• 2014 Developed application in different poultry farms, a positive finding
has been testified by performance from Physlite co-
operative farms.
• 2015 Patented
Lighting Program in modern poultry farming has been
critical concerns of uneven lighting distribution,
• 2019 Launched negative influence of non-full spectrum light (with
usual residential LED) as well as no effective lighting
program to control the laying onset, to reduce the
• 2022 Asia Market FCR and mortality rate with assistance of different
lighting program. PhysLite is working to help.

Current Concerns

www.physlite.com

1. Unevenly distributed lighting induces non-uniform of growth of poultry stock.

2. Application of non-full spectrum light could lower the poultry stock’s immunity level, efficiency of
calcium absorption & adaptability for new enviorenement.

3. Simply changing the intensity and period of lighting exposure can meet the needs of poultry
growing in modern poultry farm?

4. How to apply lighting program in improvement of liveability, release of stress, increasing BW and
avoiding premature, increasing efficiency of absorption of calcium and phosporous, controlling
the onset of laying period, as well as decreasing the FCR?

Poultry Farming by

Physlite lighting programs
• To Deliver the Uniform Lighting Distribution in modern farm:

 Apply Spot and Linear fixtures for different modern farm settings.
Pendant will be used for floor rearing or A type cage rearing while
Pendant & Linear fixtures will be combined for H type of cage
rearing. (see next following pages for examples)
 No voltage drop by 15% in 150 meter from beginning to the end
with patented circuit design with 5 cores of cable connection.

• To improve the immunity level and welfare of poultry stock:

o Use full spectrum light with CRI>97%, that include most of the
spectrums of lights in the sum, especially the UV A light ray.
o The kind of cholesterol will be converted to vitamin D when
exposed to full spectrum light or sunlight, that will help intestinal
calcium absorption. REMEMBER, residential LED can not help.
o UV A light ray can help increase the adaptability of poultry stock in
new environment due to this tetrachomatic bird can SEE the UV A
on different substances. 6

Objectives of Physlite lighting programs

• In rearing:
 To help boost birds’ adaptability in chicken barn
 To promote early development of vital organs
 To encourage feed intake and growth
 To keep up the immune response level
 To prevent premature
 To control the birds’ sexual maturity
 To protect the photosensitive capability
 To release the stress
• During production:
o To encourage growth at start of lay
o To counteract the harmful effects of decreases in natural day
length
o To help efficient absorption of calcium and phosphor
o To help maximize the FCR.
