Automation & Manufacturing Engineering Manager, Ashley Furniture
SPEAKER BIO/OVERVIEW:
With a career at Ashley Furniture starting in 2012, Mr. Webb has demonstrated expertise in overseeing the
management of manufacturing equipment, processes, and start-up operations. Beyond his work at Ashley
Furniture, he is a dedicated advocate for education. He actively engages with local high schools, tech colleges,
and universities, mentoring and guiding students in the field of technology. To support the next generation of
innovators, he has established an internship and apprenticeship program that offers hands-on experience, starting
as early as their junior year. This program equips students with practical knowledge and skills in a professional
seƫting, contributing to their overall growth and future success. Webb holds a Bachelor of Science degree in
Industrial Technology and Industrial Drafting and Design from Appalachian State University. Outside of his
professional life, he is a proud husband and father of two young sons.

● This Lunch & Learn is capped at 32 students.
● Do NOT register if you are not sure if you can make it. (Pay attention to the day of the week and other
commitments you may have during FLEX.)
● Students who register should check email to find out if they are actually registered, OR if they have been
put on the waiting list because the cap has been met.
○ Do NOT just show up to the room. Check email for verification. (Check spam/junk folder.)
● Students who are attending will be placed in the Lunch & Learn class for this date in EdFiciency.
● Please be on time! We need to begin as soon as the tardy bell rings.
● Be prepared to ask questions and take part in the Lunch & Learn.
● Email caudlet@davie.k12.nc.us if you registered but CANNOT attend. Someone wants your spot!
