With a bright color display to analyze the harmonic
spectrum, alow-pass fier to remove high frequency noise,
and a high EMC immunity design, the Fluke 245 is ideal for
measurements on switching loads such as variable frequency
Gives, electronic lighting and LIPS systems. Additionally, the
Hall Effect measurement system makes measurement of de
current possible without the need to break the crouit, and
the internal memory enables long-term logging for analysis of
trends oF intermittent problems.
+ AC/DC current: lamp-on measurement of ac current up to 1400 A
rms and de current up to 2000 A without breaking the oxi
+ Highest safety rating: 600 V CAT IV rated for use at
tne service entiance
+ ecurato in noisy environments: Even with distorted
‘waveforms present on electronic loads with low-pass fier
+ Data logging: Identity intermittent fauts By
logging any power parameters for minutes or
months, inating harmonics
+ erty batteries: Direct neesurement of de ripple
(04 or battery and de systems
+ ‘Troubleshoot harmonies: Analyze and log
harmonis digitally or graphically
+ Inrush current: Capture and analyze nuisance tapping,
from 3 seconds to 300 seconds
+ Easy to wre: Easily conti instrument setup with
lange back color display of waveforms and trends
+ 3-Phase power: Bull In capabity or balanced loads
View graphs and generate reports: With includes
Power Log softwareFLUKE.
Applications
Set up and troubleshoot variable frequency drives
and UPS systems ~ Verify corzct operation By
measuring key parameters
Harmonies measurements - Uncover harmonic issues
that can damage or disrupt catcal equipment
Inrush capture - Check start-up current where spurious
resets or nusance clicult breaker tapping occurs
Load studies - Verify clectrical system capacity
before adding loads
Log measured parameters
‘Al Voltage, current, power, and harmonle measurements
‘can be logged for minutes, hours, or months. Measuromont
averaging periods from 1 second to 18 minutes can be selected
depending on the application.
Measured parametors can he logged into three soparate
recording memory areas. If longer recordings arc required, the
three areas may be combined into one, Stored measurements,
‘can he recalled and displayed on-screen in normal soreen
format or downloaded using the Power Log software package.

2 muse Corpreuon Puke 349 Power Qualty Camp MeterFlexible and easy to use
The 345 measures a wide range of electrical parameters and
can be used for many applications in today’s modem clectrical
environment, Measuring mode is selected by a simple turn of
the rotary switch and the large color display presents data in
a clear, casy-to-undorstand way.
By default the display will show the most common
measurements, in very large format, If more detailed views
are requited they are available with the press
ofa single key (up to six measurements at once}.

Inrush current
Diagnose equipment start-ups with the inrush current mode.
‘A current trigger level is set prior to recording. Once the level
has been exceeded, the meter will begin capture. Recordings
from 3 seconds to 300 seconds may be captured, and up 10
1000 innish events may be stored in the instruments memory,
Screen captures and data logging
‘Any measurement can be stored in memo for later viewing,
or downloaded to a PC. Simply press 'SAVE" to capture the
active screen to memory ~ up to 50 screen shots can be
saved for quick and simple documentation. Additionally, over
150,000 imdWvidual measurements ean be logged for ater
