listened to the teacher explaining the task while writing the instructions in
my notebook. At that moment could not do the homework because was
still talking with my tutor. The next day, had to attend classes all day long;
therefore could not work on journals. That day, travelled back to
Valledupar and arrived late. The next day, started thinking about journals
and decided to look for information in a research book had at home titled "

journals and the procedure for writing journals. was feeling laid-back
because was thinking it would be an easy job to find this kind of
information. Since was considering the task as an easy one, two days
passed until made the decision to look for the research book. opened the
book and started reading the table of contents. After exploring the list of
contents noticed that there was not information about journals in that book,
so decided to use the internet for accomplishing my goals. entered into

After that, copied the article, opened Microsoft word and pasted it. started
reading slower, underlining the main ideas related to definitions and steps
for writing a journal. Based on the ideas underlined, made notes on a piece
of paper. Next, started typing the information about what a journal is,
benefits and the procedure for writing a journal. Since wanted to be clear
about what information should be included in a journal, decided to outline a
list of possible actions we normally undertake when doing tasks. thought
about metacognitive, cognitive and social strategies and considered Rebeca
Oxford for list of actions which belong to each type of strategy mentioned
before. This list was useful for writing specific actions in specific moments of
accomplishing the task.
As was working alone, reread the article had written and corrected some
mistakes. Finally had the opportunity to reflect about the process of looking
and organizing information related to journals through writing "this journal
which let me discover that had accomplished my goals. was ready for
teaching about JOURNALS.
