ART BASEL DIRECTORSHIP

The Executive Committee defines Art Basel’s strategy and develops its worldwide
activities. It is chaired by Noah Horowitz, CEO, Art Basel, who leads the global
development of the organization.

Bridget leads Art Basel's flagship show in the Americas.

DIRECTOR'S BIOGRAPHIES

Noah Horowitz, CEO


Noah returned to Art Basel as CEO on November 7, 2022, having held the post of
Director Americas from 2015 to 2021. He joined the organization from Sotheby’s where
he served as Worldwide Head of Gallery & Private Dealer Services. In this capacity, he
steered Sotheby’s business strategy and managed relationships with the international
dealer community. Previously, he held a four-year tenure as Executive Director of The
Armory Show in New York, after directing the first ever online-only fair, VIP Art Fair, from
2010 to 2011. He has a PhD in art history from the Courtauld Institute of Art, London, and
is the author of Art of the Deal: Contemporary Art in a Global Financial Market (Princeton
University Press, 2011). His writings and commentary on art and economics have
appeared in publications including The New York Times, Financial Times, Texte zur
Kunst, and The Art Newspaper, among others. Horowitz is a member of the Manhattan
Chapter of Young Presidents Organization, and lives in New York City with his wife,
Louise, and children, Sif and Leo.

Vincenzo de Bellis, Director, Fairs and Exhibition Platforms


Vincenzo oversees the leadership teams of Art Basel's four shows in Basel, Miami
Beach, Hong Kong and Paris, and spearheads new events and initiatives in the physical
realm. From 2016 to 2022 he served as Curator and Associate Director of Programs,
Visual Arts at the Walker Art Center in Minneapolis. During his tenure at the Walker Art
Center he organized exhibitions including a Jannis Kounellis retrospective (2022); the
group show, ‘The Paradox of Stillness: Art, Object, and Performance’ (2021); and solo
shows of work by Mario García Torres (2018) and Nairy Baghramian (2017). From 2012
to 2016 de Bellis was Artistic Director of Miart, Milan's international Modern and
contemporary art fair. From 2009 to 2016, De Bellis served as Founding Director and
Curator of the Peep-Hole Art Center in Milan. He was the curator of the first two editions
of ‘Panorama’, the itinerant exhibition held by Italics, a consortium of over sixty of Italy's
leading art galleries. De Bellis co-curated the inaugural edition of Noor Riyadh, an annual
festival of light and art in Riyadh. He holds an MA in Curatorial Studies from the Center
for Curatorial Studies at Bard College, New York; an MA in Management for Museums of
Contemporary Art and Architecture from Sapienza Università di Roma; and a BA in
Cultural Heritage from Università degli Studi di Lecce.

Maike Cruse, Director, Art Basel in Basel


Having joined Art Basel in July 2023, Maike leads the fair's premier Swiss edition,
overseeing the team in Basel and working closely with the Art Basel's network of
galleries, collectors, and artists as well as nurturing close relationships with the city's
leading museums, institutions, and cultural partners. She has extensive art fair
experience, having previously led the Gallery Weekend Berlin, art berlin (2016-2019), and
art berlin contemporary (2012-2016). Having worked as Communications Manager for Art
Basel from 2008 to 2011, Maike is well acquainted with the fair and the city of Basel's
cultural landscape. She also held positions at the KW Institute of Contemporary Art in
Berlin and the Berlin Biennale and co-launched the groundbreaking "Forgotten Bar"
project in 2008. Maike has a background in Fine Art, a wide ranging artworld network,
and extensive record in fostering meaningful partnerships and collaborative formats
spotlighting contemporary artists and galleries.

Clément Delépine, Director, Paris+ par Art Basel


Clément Delépine leads the development of Paris+ par Art Basel. From 2016 to 2021 he
was Co-Director of Paris Internationale, a fair showcasing young galleries and emerging
artists that achieved international acclaim for the audacity and quality of its presentations.
Clément Delépine brings with him an in-depth knowledge of the market and an
established curatorial practice, having held senior positions at Swiss Institute, New York
City; Bortolami, New York City; and Galerie Mitterrand, Paris, among others.

Bridget Finn, Director, Art Basel Miami Beach


Bridget steers the direction of Art Basels Miami Beach edition, overseeing the team
staging the fair, cultivating and expanding Art Basel's network of galleries, collectors, and
artists in the Americas, and working in concert with Miami and South Florida's world-class
museums, institutions, and cultural partners. Bridget has deep knowledge of the gallery
ecosystem, an intimate understanding of the North and South American art markets, and
an extensive, established network of galleries, collectors, artists, curators, and
institutional leaders across the region, within and outside of the traditional hotspots in the
US. Before joining the eponymous, Detroit-based gallery Reyes | Finn, she directed the
contemporary art program at Mitchell-Innes & Nash (2013-2017) and held several roles at
Anton Kern Gallery (2007-2010) in New York. As part of a gallerist collective, she
established the collaborative curatorial project space Cleopatra's (2008-2018) in New
York, which later operated a Berlin location, working collaboratively with hundreds of
artists and cultural producers for a decade. Previously, Finn served as the Director of
Strategic Planning & Projects at Independent Curators International (ICI) (2010-2013),
where she developed unique projects and formats in partnership with leading galleries,
museums, auctions houses, corporations, and philanthropic organizations to deliver
contemporary art programs to broad public audiences.

Craig Hepburn, Chief Digital Officer


Craig is responsible for driving value creation through innovative solutions, services and
products across the entire Art Basel digital ecosystem and spearheads an ambitious
digital strategy that seeks to complement and amplify Art Basel's physical shows, creating
new formats and experiences that serve galleries, artists, and collectors, as well as
engage ever broader cultural audiences. With over 20 years’ experience in digital
transformation and technology leadership, he has a proven track record of building world-
class teams and launching innovative products and services that challenge the status
quo. He was most recently Head of Digital at the Union of European Football
Associations (UEFA) in Nyon, Switzerland, where he led the strategic direction of the
business towards a digital-first mindset, including the launch of UEFA’s first streaming
OTT platform, UEFA.tv. Craig has a lifelong passion for the convergence of technology,
creative media, and digital product development, as well as extensive expertise in Web3
and Generative AI. He is an advocate for digital innovation and the pursuit of cutting-edge
technologies to drive growth and improve customer experiences.

Hayley Romer, Chief Growth Officer


Hayley leads an integrated growth strategy that seeks out new and innovative ways to
engage and positively impact Art Basel's expanding audiences – bringing more value to
galleries, artists, established and emerging collecting communities, and art enthusiasts
around the world. She focusses on enhancing and innovating Art Basel's offering at its
world-class shows and year-round platforms, creating new opportunities within and
beyond the arts ecosystem. Hayley has a wealth of experience in brand strategy and
differentiation, product development, and cultural transformation. She was most recently
Publisher and Chief Revenue Officer of The Atlantic, the renowned American magazine
and publisher, where her work helped to transform the brand from a bastion of legacy
media companies to an ultra-modern, multi-platform powerhouse. Her career has been
guided by the belief that business can and should serve a greater purpose in society.
Hayley is a frequent speaker on leadership, the role of corporations in society, and major
societal issues such as climate change and racial equity at top-tier events including
Davos, The Aspen Ideas Festival, CES, SXSW, Cannes Lions International Festival of
Creativity, WM Sustainability Forum, among others.

Angelle Siyang-Le, Director, Art Basel Hong Kong


Angelle Siyang-Le leads Art Basel’s flagship event in Asia. Prior to her appointment as
Director, Art Basel Hong Kong in November 2022, Siyang-Le oversaw the business
development in Greater China, as well as strategy and gallery relations for the Hong
Kong fair. In 2020, she led the first Spotlight event by Art Basel in Hong Kong,
reestablishing an in-person platform for the art community to exchange ideas during the
pandemic. Siyang-Le joined Art Basel in 2012 from The Farook Collection, a private
collection in the United Arab Emirates where she served as the Collection
Representative. During her time in the Middle East, she also managed the not-for-profit
art space, Traffic, and the Dubai artist studio Satellite where she focused her support on
galleries, artists, and young art professionals. Siyang-Le is co-founder of The Mobile Art
Gallery, an initiative that aims to bring contemporary emerging art to a broader audience.
Born in mainland China, Siyang-Le grew up between China and the United Kingdom. She
holds an MA in Modern and Contemporary Art from Christie’s Education and a BSc in
Urban Planning, Design, and Management from The Bartlett, University College London.
