Motor cable connection

Connection clamps Description:

RES, RES= brake resistor

FRO, FR= brake coil

CBR, BR1, BR2= brake switches

TMS, TMS= thermistor

U,V,W= Connect motor cable in according to the right sequence. It is important connect
the gauze od cable on clevis, like in picture..

R,S,T= Power supply (L,N on single phase).

WARNING!

It is important to make in the best way the shielding wiring of motor

cable and encoder otherwise there will be inverter malfunctions. Most
important thing is the distance between encoder cable and motor cable:
at least 50cm for the whole travel from motor to controller.

NB:
When the Inverter is in standby, red led “ALM” blinks and display shows “bb”.
When the inverter isn’t working, if the Led ALM is ON it doesn’t mean that inverter
is in Fault!

1. Make Tuning

WARNING!

During Tuning execution, before setting of parameter, it is necessary to

insert (by hand) the motor contactors otherwise we will have ER2.

In the first step of installation please make Auto-Tuning of motor in this way:
 Move down automatic valve of manoeuvre;
 Insert by hand motor contactors (TL, TL1);
 Press UP ARROW unitl A.tun (A.tuning);
 Press ENTER to go into parameter t2-01;
 Set value to ‘1’ (auto tuning not rotating) and press again ENTER;

 Move by from t2-01 to t2-09, setting the value like in table:

* this date are on motor faceplate

PAR. DESCRIPTION VALUE
T2-01 Auto tuning non rotating 1
T2-04 Motor Power (Kw) (kw)
T2-05 Nominal Voltage of motor (In) (V)
T2-06 Nominal Current of Motor (In) (A)
T2-08 Motor Poles number N°
T2-09 RPM motor rpm
T2-11 RPM encoder rpm

 Move until tun11 (check that motor contactors are inserterd) and press
RUN. In this moment inverter starts to read motor values with a light

whistle. After some minutes display will show END; now it is possible
release contactors.
 Release contactors.
 Press ESC;.

IN CASE OF ERRORS PLEASE CHECK “Faults during Auto-tuning”LIST

IN THE NEXT PAGES.

2. Tuning offset (encoder angle)

WARNING!

Also during this procedure it is necessary to have motor contactors

inserted by hand otherwise there will be ER2.

In the first step of installation make auto-tuning of motor in this way::

 Move down automatic manoeuvre valve;
 Insert motor contactors by hand (TL,TL1);
 Press UP Arrow until A.tun (A.tuning);
 Press ENTER to go into parameter t2-01;
 Set valueto ‘4’ (not rotating magnetic pole search) and press ENTER;

 Move by arrows until tun13; with motor contactors inserted,

press RUN.
In this moment inverter starts to read motor values with a light whistle.
After some minutes display will show END; now it is possibvle release
contatcors.

If you will have errors at the end of this procedure please invert V and W on
motor and then try re-make the procedure.

 Release contactors and press ESC.

 Restart inverter.

4- Check direction of motor rotation

 Move motor in both direction in inspection mode and check the correct
direction.
 If in the first start inverter shows errore PGO invert phase V with W.
 If motor moves in the opposite way, set the parameter F1-05 to 1 and
invert V with W
 We advise to make TUNING OFFSET (point 2)

5- Check elevator balance

- Check elevator balance and set it 50% between cabin weight and
counterweight.
- Check the ampere absorption by monitor function of inverter keypad.
Absorbed current has been the same in UP and Down direction at
half travel.

Ex.: If cabin capacity is 360Kg, insert into car 180Kg and check
ampere absorption (minimum tolerance is 0,5A) in UP and DOWN
direction.
