• An electronic device that accepts data and processes it into useful information is called a computer.
• A computer system is divided by into two categories Hardware and Software.
What Are The Differences Between Hardware And Software?
• Hardware: refers to the physical and visible components of the system such a LCD, CPU, keyboard, printer, scanner,
hard drive and mouse etc.
Hardware Is Further Divided Into Four Main Categories:
• Input Devices
• Output Devices
• Secondary Storage Devices
• Internal Components
• Software: refers to a set of tasks. The software must be installed in the hardware to function properly and similarly,
the hardware must be present for the tasks to be performed such a Windows, Adobe Photoshop, Google Chrome etc.
Software Is Further Divided Into Two Main Categories:
• Application Software
• System Software

• Windows is a graphical operating system developed by Microsoft. It allows users to view and store
files, run the software, play games, watch videos, and provides a way to connect to the internet. It
was released for both home computing and professional works.

What Is Control Panel In Microsoft Windows ?

• The Control Panel in Microsoft Windows enables a user to change various computer hardware and
software features. Settings for the mouse, display, sound, network, and keyboard represent a few
examples of what may be modified in the Control Panel. Below are examples of how the Control
Panel appeared in Windows.
