ARS Evaluation Of Animal Bite Surveillance System In Transmitting ‘SS EI Rabies (GHPR) At Palopo City, South Sulawesi 2022 See | FETP Hasanuddin University,” Background The CFR for Rabies-Transmitting Animal Bites (GHPR) reaches 99%, the high number of CFR were caused by management of bite cases that were not conducted immediately. Reports of GHPR cases increase from 106 cases in 2021 to 118 cases in 2022. One of the efforts to minimize the risk of death from GHPR is through surveillance activities, therefore this evaluation aims to obtain information on the implementation of a surveillance system for control measures and handling GHPR cases in Palopo City. Method The evaluation was carried out in March-April 2023 by conducting interviews using a structured questionnaire and observing report documents involved 1 GHPR surveillance officer at the district health office, 12 Public Health Center (PHC) officers in Palopo City as respondents. Data were analyzed by descriptive observational method Results From the legal aspect, 16.7% of officers unfamiliar with the policies in controlling’GHPR cases, 66.7% of networks and partnerships did not run optimally, GHPR case control activities were carried out by Puskesmas and Hospitals only. For Manpower, 41.7% of officers never received training, 75% work for other programs. From the aspect of the infrastructure, 41.7% of officers did not have a guidebook, only 83% of Puskesmas report Epidemiological Investigation of GHPR cases, only 66.7% Puskesmas functioning as Rabies Center, for supporting facilities, Wifi availability 85.7%, and funding for GHPR surveillance activities Sourced from BOK funds. = supervision so 8 100 (Graphics 1.
