If you buy a VAUDE backpack you get a functional piece of gear that is not only the result of innovative
engineering but also part of our passion for mountain sports.
Every backpack that we develop is part of our philosophy: making equipment that works – no matter
whether that is in the Alps or on your daily commute.
Backpacks are our core competence. we have been building backpacks ever since VAUDE was established.
Beginning with our early backpacks in 1974 we kept improving them constantly: From simple hiking packs
to ultralight alpine and trekking packs with eicient backsystems.
maybe we did not reinvent the backpack but we sure improved it a lot.
Before we throw each pack on the market we always ask ourselves the question whether these 5 criteria
are being met – and we improve the backpack until it matches our requirements. This way we make sure
that our demands to function and quality are being met.
