They appear in the form of bullying. These situations diminish and disrupt every child's psychological growth and character formation. The child unconsciously develops adoptive behavior dealing with what is legendarily practiced in school environments. In order to deal with this, he or she opts to be the predator that its prey. The issue now keeps circulating; it becomes even worse for each predator embraces its role as a fitle. On the other hand, the ability of the preys to rise for their rights is weakened. Hence, neither option forms part of a friendly school atmosphere. This dilemma substantially curtails the orderly operation of schools — of the society in general. Republic Act 10627, an act known as the Anti-Bullying Act has been promulgated to address the aforesaid issue, Cagayan de Oro City Police Office (COCPO), however, believes that this problem will not be squarely and immediately penetrated for lack of attentive immediacy. Said office, by its humble means, desires to incorporate one major police function — maintain peace and order in the classroom scenario depicting a real-life community of pupils- future citizenry. In the hope of bridging the gap between the community and police, the Cagayan de Oro City Police Office deems the school scenarios fit to which Bata -Pulis the PNP Anti-Bullying Program may be practiced. Not only will this project let children imitate and simulate subtle police functions, this program enforces discipline to children enshrining into their hearts that each community is capable of achieving national progress and competitiveness. This shall be possible by the successful initiative of the citizens in the first community. ote The children are the future citizenry. As early as now, they must be taught t© embrace each role and function in the classroom as the latter is considered a mini- society.” Bata-Pulis" the PNP Anti-Bullying Program highlights the assumption of such roles and functions especially those who are elected. This program embeds dedication to tasks on one hand and imposes discipline on the other. One specific goal of this program is to safeguard and ensure positive character formation; and to let them understand the consequences of their actions; and that by their own doing, they may suffer punishment. Basic police functions are to be incorporated in every classroom. Hence, police school partnership is much appreciated, the school, being part of the community. Involving children in community-based activities can influence them to be more responsible, dynamic and self-motivated that offers a different perspective from other * children thatis worth emulating. It also helps adults understand children’s issues, helps make sure policies and services are in tune with children’s needs, and acknowledges children’s important role in society. It also helps children and young people to gain new skills and knowledge and build their confidence in other processes. * School Administration * Local Government Unit * Stake Holder TWG COST-EFFECTIVENESS “Bata-Pulis "The PNP Anti-Bullying Program’ Project disburses more or less ‘One Hundred Sixty-Seven (Php 167) in each police station to sustain monthly activities specifically distribution of leaflets. The running cost of the activity would deplete only a few pesos to add up the printing of the tarpaulin which more or less Two Hundred Pesos (Php 200).
