all the wizards were celebrating

Named had been defeated!

Sadly, Voldemort had killed both
James and Lily Potter!

Voldemort had not
been able to kill baby Harry, but he
did leave him with a scar. 5  
Harry Potter was a hero: He
Was the Boy Who Lived.

Harry was taken to go live

with his uncle and aunt, Mr. and
Mrs. Dursley

and their spoiled son Dudley,

on 4 Privet Drive. The
Dursleys were mean to Harry 10  
and made Harry live in the cupboard
under the stairs.

One day at the zoo, Harry set a
python free. 12  
Harry could talk to snakes! He was
a parselmouth.

Soon afterwards, owls started delivering
letters for Harry.

Mr. Dursley wouldn’t let Harry open
them.

On the eve of Harry’s, 11th
birthday

a giant called Hagrid arrived and
told Harry:

“You’re famous Harry. You are a
wizard.”

Harry was going to go study at the
Hogwarts School of Witchcraft &
Wizardy. 19  
Hagrid and Harry went to Gringotts
Bank, that is protected by Goblins.

At Diagon Alley, Harry bought a
magical wand at Ollivander’s.

Hagrid gave Harry a pet owl called

Harry went to Platform Nine and
Three Quarters

and took the Hogwarts Express to
Hogwarts.

On the train Harry meet Ron
Weasley. They become best friends.

The ate lots of chocolate frogs and

The headmaster at Hogwarts was
called Professor Dumbledore.

A Sorting Hat was placed on each
student to decide what House they
would enter.

There are four Houses: Gryfifndor,
Hufflepuff,

Ravenclaw and Slytherin.

Harry and Ron got into Gryffindor
House.

Professor Snape teaches Potions and is
mean to Harry.

One day a troll enters Hogswarts!

Harry and Ron save Hermoine from
the troll.

Afterwards, the three of them

Harry joined the Quidditch team as a
Seeker.

At Christmas Harry Potter receives an
Invisibility Cloak as a present.

Together, Harry, Hermoine and
Ron discover that Nicolas Flamel

owns the Sorcerer’s Stone, that provides
immorality.

One day Harry, Ron and Hermoine go to
the Forbidden Forest with Hagrid.

Centaurs tell Harry that He-Who-
Must-Not-Be-Named

is killing unicorns and drinking
their blood.

 Harry, Ron and Hermoine decide to
try to go retrieve the stone.

First, they have to put the Three
Headed dog to sleep with music.

First, they are caught by Devil’s
Snare.

Afterwards, Harry has to capture a
flying key.

Next, Ron has to defeat real chess!

Voldemort is a parasite living on
Professor Quirrell. Eek! 48  
Voldemort tries to take the stone
from Harry.

Uh-oh! Voldemort touches Harry
and turns to dust!

The Sorcerer Stone is destroyed
forever and Voldemort is gone!

Gyffindor wins the House Cup!!!
