content.
2. About Me/Contact Me – adds a page containing a form element which allows visitors to email you. You may
also add links to your Twitter page.
3. Blog – creates a page that includes details about your WordPress blog and a link to it.
4. Photo Gallery – a page that contains photos from your Photobucket account.
5. Community – a page that contains links to ten of your classmate’s websites including a short description.
Thinking Exercise
1. What are the advantages and disadvantages of a WYSIWYG editor?
There are several advantages WYSIWYG HTML editors have. One of which is that it is easy, fast, and
has no special skills required. A person can design a site without having any programming knowledge and
create web sites and put them online. It also provides a platform to start learning HTML and is great fun to
develop web pages this way. The web page is apt to be different unless you are trying to copy another web
page. Furthermore, it is faster and easier to create web pages. An individual can make changes to a page layout
by simply dragging the objects to their new positions and make changes to content in the WYSIWYG editor,
rather of searching for and inserting between HTML tags, or using a complex content management system.
There are also disadvantages to this and it is the fact that it takes as long to understand how to use them as to
learn how to program, and, to be more specific a person has the chance to get stuck in unthinkable dead edges.
A lot of HTML code churned out by the editors is unnecessary which makes the web pages bulky in file size
and as you will know, large file downloads slowly than a smaller ones. Lastly, search engines need to wade
through all this code to get to the meat of the page that is, the certain text subjects.
2. List down three more WYSIWYG web hosting services and their URL.
Site Builder – To move your site to another host and pick up where you left off, you would need the new
host to have the exact same builder software. This usually compels that you have admission to the site’s
files. This is the fundamental explanation that professionally created websites are not made on builder
programs.

Idea Host – Ideahost is relatively clear about what they are, a low-cost, unlimited hosting plan. They don’t
try to sell you on special upgrade options or higher-priced plans you don’t need. In fact, they don’t have any
of those things.
