ESCRIPTION OF THE LEARNER: The learner is a 75 year old patient who has hypertension and diabetes mellitus. She is currently residing at Mankayan Benguet and
regularly visits at Km6 Balili La Trinidad Benguet. Her mother tongue is Kan-kanaey. She has diIIiculty understanding and speaking English, and Tagalog, but she is able to speak
and understand Ilocano. She Iinished elementary level. She has decreased vision due to aging but these may not impair the learning process. (It was noted that she at times coughs
without covering her mouth; she also uses tissue paper to catch the expectorated phlegm but does not discard it properly; She has no hearing impairments that may interIere with
