VIII. ADDITIONAL INFORMATION OR EXPLANATIONS.

Further information may be helpful to fitlly describe the transaction reflected on lines 10 and 11 of Part Vll of this report. Here is what occurred: In January 2009 I refinanced my house and pulled approximately $130,000 in equity out of my house to take advantage of what 1 perceived to be an undervalued stock market. I therefore placed $100,000 of those funds into the Vaaguard Money Market Ftmd on February 3, 2009, and tl~e following day -- February 4, 2009 -- I invested that money in the various Vanguard Funds described on lines 11-14 of Part VII of this report. That was the so~rce of the money to fund the purchases of these new mutual funds.
