Success criteria
User registration process – The system will include a register tab that will allow users of the
system to register using their staff email/username and ,they create their own password that they
will use to login .
Login Process – The system will include a log-in tab that will allow users to login using their
username and password. And if the user provides an invalid password/username, it notifies the
user that the provided password/username is invalid, they must provide the correct one. If the
user forgot the password, they must click the “forgot password” tab, and they will receive an
email immediately on their staff email to reset the password. After resting the password, the user
is redirected back to the logging-in page to log in using the new password and username.
User Interface – The interface will include clear and easy-to-navigate screens that will be used
to enter data and verify the visitors vehicle information.
Registration Process $ Error handling – The system will prompt the user for visitors’ information
and visitor’s vehicle information. When the user fills in the needed information provided by the
visitor, if the information entered is invalid the system notifies the user of the error made (e.g.
checks whether the filled in data aligns with the required correct datatype) immediately after
proceeding to the next question. The system redirects the user to the filling-in bar where the
provided input is invalid, the user re-enters the information again and after all the required
information is entered successfully the user clicks the “register”/” save” tab that will be available
on the screen. After clicking the save tab the “Successfully registered” message will be displayed
to indicate that the user has been added on the record of visitors in the database. The system will
then redirect the user back to the registering page for the next visitor.
Scalability – The system having ability to accommodate many registered vehicles and users
without compromising performance.
