Chandrasekar a mechanical engineering graduate, with an urge

to explore and conquer the unknown, stumbled upon this gold mine EMU FARMNG.
Though instinct urged him to go ahead, his analytical & business acumen made him to
learn the ropes with a PLOT PROJECT.
The Pilot Project was started with 5 pairs of EMUs. This gave Mr. Chandrasekar the
opportunity to collect vast data about the bird's potential to be a gold mine. This
research & fact finding mission gave him the confidence and to realize the commercial
potential of emu farming.
YEAR 2008 - Armed with the pioneering data and facts, about emu, Vc.Emu Faarms
ndia Limited, was incorporated with the sole objective to create awareness among the
public about the benefits of emu products and to enjoy THE HEART HEALTHY
MEAT, ENCHANTING MULTI-UTILITY OIL etc.,
THE FARM - Spread over an area of 40 acres near Thiruchengode, with over 5000
Breeder Birds and 5000 chicks in an EMU friendly landscape & environment; well
guarded by professionals.


An in-house Vet & maintenance personnel provide 24x7 attention to our Birds. A
centralized feed manufacturing unit provides nutritious & healthy feed to the birds and
an Hatchery with state of the art ncubators and equipments to handle 50,000 eggs at
one go.. A Chick Care unit to handle more than 50,000 chicks at any given time.



An Hygienic Slaughtering & Meat processing facility complete with cold storage &
packing equipments. An Oil Extraction unit to process the tallow of Emus.
A fully functional & integrated facility to manufacture Cosmetic & therapeutic Soaps,
Lotions, Creams, Shampoo Massage Oil, Hair Oils, Face Wash etc., from the
exceptionally valuable Emu Oil.
An Handicraft zone to create and manufacture works of art from Emu egg shells,
Feathers, nails etc., A Leather products unit with skilled artisans to convert emu leather
into Jackets, valets, lady's hand bags etc., This leather is Eco friendly because of its
very low carbon foot print.

Mrs.S.Vasanthi a Mechanical Engineer and an avid avian admirer. A Woman's touch
in maintenance is always meticulous & neat. Such is her command over the Farm's
personal, that the farm is maintained at par with nternational Standards.
Mr.S.M.Rajasekar M.Sc., M.Phil., Chemistry. This man's chemistry with the farm is
so profound that the extracted emu oil has transformed into cosmetic and therapeutic
products - The dream of Vc.Emu Faarms ndia Limited,. The Feed formulation and
manufacturing is his responsibility. The Hatchery unit under his wing welcomes new
addition to the farm.
Mr.S.M.Ganansekar, M.A.,(Eco)., - This Economist with his uncanny ways to develop
the infrastructure of the company in an economical way, with all the home comforts
needed for the birds to frolic and reproduce. The development of a 40 acre plot with
easy access to the various units is no easy task. Thanks to his efforts the well
integrated cluster unit has become the home away from home for over 5000 residents
and their chicks.
Mrs.J.KokiIa BCA., - Stupendous growth of the company can only be achieved by an
able administration. This able Administration and Customer Care are the basic essence
for growth, is played to perfection by Mrs.J.Kokila. An admirer of arts & handicrafts is
the force behind novel applications for Emu Feather, Egg shells and nails in the form of
innovative & beautiful handicrafts
