Prepare a waste plan for the practical work area of your


qualification

PROCEDURES

1. Download the template for a waste management plan. See


the sample waste management plan for reference.
2. Refer to the Types of Waste to classify the waste generated
by the practical work area.
3. Indicate collection details or instructions for activities to be
undertaken by the trainer or trainees including the container
for collection, frequency of disposal and other special
instructions.
4. Indicate the activities to be performed on an institutional scale
including the frequency and schedule of collection, special
instruction and the concerned department or personnel per
type of waste.
