13. Rejoin yarn at 5th sp, ch 2, 2hdc in same space, hdc in next 6, 2hdc in next. Ch 2, turn. 14. 2hdc in ch with 2-ch, hdc in next 8 sp, 2hdc in next. Ch 2, turn. 15. 2hdc in ch with 2-ch, hdc in next 10 sp, 2hdc in next. Ch 2, turn. 16. 2hdc in ch with 2-ch, hdc in next 12 sp, 2hdc in next. Ch 2, turn. 17. 2hdc in ch with 2-ch, hdc in next 14 sp, 2hdc in next. Fasten off. Take each tree side and decorate it however you want. The garland shown is just a simple chain of white yarn. I used gold and silver embroidery thread for the stars and buttons from a mixed bag I bought a while back. Theyre all different types but I just made sure to match the colors. Take about 6 of ribbon, fold in half and place ends at the top of the tree and tack down. Take either matching yarn/thread or a contrast and stitch the sides together, leaving the bottom open for polyfill. Take polyfill and put a little bit in at a time, making sure youre not packing it in too much or itll get bulky. if it helps, stretch the filling out a little before putting it in. I find that helps make it fluffy. Stitch up the bottom and thats it! Happy Holidays ^_^ Please respect my work. This pattern is meant for personal use only.
