LIMITATIONS
GENERAL The FMSs comply with AC 20-130A and in particular meet the accuracy criteria of AC 20-130A for en-route, terminal areas provided the FMS is not in Dead Reckoning (DR in PFD and in CDU) and is not in a degraded navigation mode (DEGRADE message in PFD and DGRAD lighting in CDU). The minimum navigation performance required by NAT MNPS regulations (French arrt of November 5th, 1987 and FAR Part 91 Appendix C) are demonstrated provided that there are at least 2 FMSs and 2 IRSs in NAV mode operating on board or 2 GPS or 1 IRS in NAV mode operating on board and 1 GPS. Dual FMZ2000 software NZ4.233 with GPS equipment P/N HG2021GD02 system, as installed has been found to comply with the requirements for GPS primary means of navigation in oceanic and remote airspace as defined by FAA Order 8110.60 when used in conjunction with the P/N 169-613970-105 or later approved prediction program. The here-above statement is valid if there is no FMS and/or GPS related failure message/label on PFD and CDU. This does not constitute an operational approval. LIMITATIONS NZ 2000 navigation must be periodically verified during the flight by comparison with the other means of navigation. FUEL, TIME and SMART PERF prediction information are provided for advisory purposes only and must not be used for flight planning. FMS must not be used for navigation above 75 North and below 75 South latitudes. The following functions are not authorized: - SID and STAR procedures. - APPROACH mode. Vertical Navigation (VNAV) is only advisory (VNAV mode cannot be engaged). HOLDING PATTERN The airplane speed has to be less than the Holding Pattern published maximum speed. NOTE The FMS does not always take into account the published maximum Holding Pattern speed. The FMS message HIGH HOLDING GRD SPD must be out when passing the entry point. The airplane speed has to be adapted and stabilized 2 minutes prior the airplane overflies the fix for the first time in order to keep the airplane inside the ICAO safety area. Parallel entry is forbidden. GPS GPS is not approved as a primary means of navigation for continental en-route, approach and terminal operations. If remote/oceanic operations are based on GPS only, check FDE availability before flight. DTM537 EASA APPROVED
