COURSE SYLLABUS
2nd SEMESTER A.Y. 2018 – 2019
SUBJECT : ENTREPRENEURSHIP
COURSE DESCRIPTION : Entrepreneurship is intended to equip the students to
understand how the enterprise will make money (business model) by
estimating the needed investment, forecasting revenues, expenses and
profits, and determining the appropriate financing package.
COURSE CREDIT : 2 Hours per week
COURSE POLICY
Classroom Policies
1. This is a performance class, so the following is the protocol, which is a mutual contract between
all of us.
2. Rude or discourteous behavior is not acceptable. Profane or vulgar language is generally not
acceptable.
3. Attendance is required at all class sessions, especially mock sessions/service. More than two (2)
unexcused absences will result in a final course grade lowered by ½ letters for each additional
unexcused absence. Unless extreme circumstances arise, documentation should be provided.
4. Students are not allowed to leave the classroom once class has begun. Please take care of all
personal business before entering the room. If you leave the class before the class ending time,
you will be marked absent or late.
5. Only 10minutes grace period will be given before the start of the class.
6. No cell phone calls, texting, charging of cellular phones during class.
7. As a courtesy to your peers and instructor, please be in your seat and ready for work by the
beginning of class time. You are expected to remain in class until it is formally dismissed.
8. Students should wear their complete school uniform.
9. Proper identification should be worn at all times within school premises.
Grading System
1. Written Works (WW) = 25% Quizzes, Assignments, Long Quizzes
2. Performance Task (PT) = 50% Oral Recitations, Practical Examination / Class

3. Quarterly Exam (QE) = 25% Examinations

Conclusion
One of the key points in Entrepreneurship Course Syllabus is that it was developed for Senior
High School Students of ABE International Business College, and is therefore meant to provide basic
understanding of Entrepreneurship. Through this course syllabus, students will learn the fundamentals
of Entrepreneurship. Thus, giving them knowledge, skills and confidence to work in the industry and/or
establish their own business in the future. The syllabus provides learners an interactional task-based
which will better prepare the students for the world of Hospitality Industry.
