Welcome
The dean of our division, Tom Monroe, was recently honored with the Joan Simon Lifetime Achievement Award by his peers of the Illinois Community College Board workforce development committee, weTRaIN. The award is not conferred annually, rather awarded to those outstanding individuals whose careers in community college workforce development are distinguished. We wanted you to know that because of what it offers your businesses. During Mr. Monroes tenure, this department enrolled the largest number of workforce training participants ever in the Illinois community college system. These numbers translate into top caliber instructors and a best-in-class educational curriculum for your selection in business, industry and safety training programs.
