A Christmas Story

t was a cold Christmas Day and Miss Kemp has just walked into advisory, finding that
she has apparently walked into bedlam. The room was trashed with blood all over the walls;
desk and chairs knocked over and in pieces, and all the computers had a crack right in the
middle in the exact same place. Kemp turned around in horror but to her relief and dismay no
students were found.
Kemp turned and ran out of the room and was stopped immediately by when the lights
were immediately turned off and she couldn't see a thing. Suddenly a light flashed down the
hallway and Kemp followed it to office. The office was pitch black and colder than ice, small
white specters floated around the room.
BANG
BANG
BANG
BANG BANG
BANGBANGBANG
The noise was coming from the cabinet near Hilda's desk. Kemp slowly followed, trying
not to touch the specters.
HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA
HEEHEEHEEHEEHEE
Giggles and dark laughter erupted in the room, seemingly coming from nowhere. Kemp
was drawn toward that cabinet where the banging noise occurred. Kemp walked over, crouched
down, and opened the cabinet.
HEHEHEHEHEHE
HAHAHAHAHAHA
HEEHEEHEEHEE
Hands emerged from the cabinet and grabbed Kemp by the shoulders. Kemp screamed
and fell back the arms stretching until the face of a child appeared. Eyes glowing red with
sparks of silver in its three eyes. Horns peeping out of its black oily hair, eight huge, sharp fangs
flashing, and its face was covered in blood.
Kemp was still on the floor as the thing, the child pulled itself out of the cabinet. ts long
spindly legs wobbling as it walked toward Kemp. Slowly, so slowly it crept towards her, hunger
in its eyes, fangs quivering in need.
ts jaw suddenly fell open, not like humans, its jaw fell several feet. An earsplitting shriek
came out of its mouth and all the windows burst, a long forked tongue snaking out to taste
Kemp.
Kemp jumped up in fear, her legs shaking as she ran out of the office into the hallway
again. Her body brushing the specters and passing through them as icy pinpricks ran through
her body. Kemp rushed toward the stairs, eyes blind as she encountered the door and slammed
into it, thrusting her body through.
Kemp cursed as she felt her foot slip on the stairway and she was falling.
Kemp woke up in her bed in December morning, heart racing, and memory of the dream
fading.
The day everybody returned from winter break, Kemps advisory was still as loud as
always.
"Everyone settle down, get into a circle, Julian sit down can't see the people behind
you, now what did you all do this break? Luz start please. Kemp asked.
