Past Tense (1)

We use the Past Tense to talk about things that happened before
now.

Many verbs add -ed to make the Past Tense (these are called
the "Regular Verbs):
O played tennis yesterday.
O finished my homework last night.

"-ed" can have 3 different sounds: ~t, ~d, or ~ed.

Past Tense (2)

"Go, "See, and "Eat are called Irregular Verbs, because
you dont add -ed to make the past tense.

past tense, you dont have to add -s to the verb!

Grammar
Past Tense (5)

To make a 30,9;0past tense sentence, just add "did not (or
"didnt) before the verb. (You dont need to use the past tense
form of the verb.)

*The past tense of the "Be Verbs (am, is, are) is was and were.
To make them negative, you just add "not. ( wasnt sick. They
werent tired.)
