Summary Statement:
Over the past six days of my second week interning under an advocate, I have been fully immersed in the dynamic
environment of the courtroom. Each day has offered a unique learning opportunity, from observing intricate
cross-examinations to understanding the nuances of legal arguments. I assisted in drafting legal documents and
witnessed the strategic planning that goes into building a strong case. Interactions with clients provided insight
into the human aspect of law, highlighting the importance of empathy and clear communication. By the end of the
week, I felt more confident in navigating court procedures and appreciated the blend of meticulous preparation
and quick thinking required in the legal profession. This hands-on experience has significantly broadened my
understanding of legal practice and reinforced my passion for pursuing a career in law.
