Present Simple

Spelling: dodawanie -s w trzeciej osobie liczby pojedynczej:


● jeśli czasownik kończy się na -ss, -sh, -ch, -x, -o → dodajemy -es
I miss → he misses; I wash → he washes; I watch → he watches; I mix → he mixes; I go → he goes
● jeśli czasownik kończy się na spółgłoskę i -y, usuwamy -y i dodajemy -ies
I study → he studies; I cry → he cries
● z resztą czasowników po prostu dodajemy -s: I work → he works; I play → he plays
