I visit my relatives during my free time.

I always say Bāraka-llāĥu fīka or Ĥanīan laka or

A Good Muslim Child

Reading a Selection

Know my Family

This is my family. My father is Ahmad. He is a decent


businessman and a kind man. That is why my mother tells him
”May Allāh help you.”

My mother is Āminaĥ. She is a teacher. She loves
children. She says “tuŝbihūna âlā khayr” before she sleeps.

My brother is Âli. He is a polite boy.

My grandfather is Ûmar. He is respected and a


religious sheikh. He goes to the masjid with my brother.
After prayer, he says “taqabbala-llāĥu minna wa minkum” to
him and his companion in the masjid.

My grandmother is Sārrah. Her hobby is planting


flowering plants in the garden. She says to me “Rāfaqatkis-
salāmah” when I go to the madrasaĥ.

The kitchen has a refrigerator, oven, plates, spoons,

Yes

A masjid is a place of prayer. There is a muaḋḋin


who calls for prayer. Muslims go to the masjid to
comply the obligatory prayers in a group. Men,
women, and children pray in the masjid. They pray
as followers behind an Imām who leads the prayer.
They go to the masjid every Friday to pray a
Friday prayer and listen to a sermon from the
khaṫīb reminding them what will be good for them
in their religion and in their lives.
