discussion about the Psychosocial competency refers to the ability of an
individual to effectively deal with the demands, challenges, and pressures of
daily life. It involves a combination of psychological and social skills that
enable a person to manage their thoughts, emotions, and behaviors in various
situations. These competencies are crucial for mental well-being, positive
interpersonal relationships, and effective functioning in society.

Key Components of Psychosocial Competency:


Self-awareness: Understanding one’s own emotions, strengths, weaknesses,
values, and motivations.

Empathy: The ability to understand and share the feelings of others, fostering
strong interpersonal relationships.

Communication skills: The capacity to express oneself clearly and listen to


others effectively, both verbally and non-verbally.

Decision-making skills: The ability to make informed, thoughtful choices


considering the potential consequences.

Problem-solving skills: The capability to identify problems, analyze options, and


implement solutions.

Coping with emotions: Managing and regulating emotions in a healthy way,


especially under stress or pressure.

Coping with stress: Techniques and strategies to deal with stressors in a


constructive manner, maintaining mental and physical health.

Interpersonal skills: Building and maintaining positive relationships, working


well with others, and resolving conflicts.

Resilience: The ability to recover quickly from difficulties, adapt to change, and
continue growing despite setbacks.

Critical thinking: The ability to objectively analyze information, consider


different perspectives, and make reasoned judgments.

These competencies are often developed through life experiences, education,


and training. They play a significant role in personal development, career
success, and overall life satisfaction.
AUGUST 7 / WENESDAY Psychosocial Competency:
10-SULTAN KUDARAT Problem Solving
In this activity Teresa Magbanua learners show the capacity to
find creative solutions to challenges. Through
Collaboration or groupings. They share it by means of speaking
up their ideas and listening to others – all of them arrive at
the best solution or course of action.

In this activity, learners will collaborate to find creative


solutions to a problem through dramatization
AUGUST 8/THURSDAY PSYCHOSOCIAL COMPETENCY:
7 – DAMA DE NOCHE SELF-CONFIDENCE
In this activity Macario Sakay showed their self-confidence,
empathy to one another they listened, all of the learners in are
willing to share their stories. Showing how open-minded and
proud they are in their own life story.

This activity will allow learners to practice collaboration and


storytelling, and develop self-expression, confidence and
connection through a drawing..
