VISION-2020 -Join Hands To Make Bharat Developed By 2020

We got independent from the british rule in 1947 which was followed by the disastrous partition where a single country was broken into two independent nations (basically three; Kashmir also). The dream of a developed and independent India inspired the freedom fighters to get their country rid from the british rule. We finally implemented our constitution in 1950 and set up the worlds largest democracy. The nation had a vision, a vision of an educated India, a vision of a self reliant India, a vision of a cultured India, a vision of a scientific India, finally a vision of a developed India. Friends we walk in 21st century now and see where are we now? A big question to think. Are we really developing or ?? Where are we heading to and which path we are following to make our country developed? If we analyse the history, we get to know that after independence no major changes took place in our administration, judicial, executive or educational system. Thus we carried out almost the same process of governance which britishers had devised to plunder India. Friends if look at our at past, we find that we were the leaders in everything. When the west didnt even had clothes to wear Indians had gold & silver coins as their currency. We had very well system of education and administration. It is even considered an ideal era by many of the historians. But past thousand years we saw many invasions and their rule such as the mughals, turks and the british. Thus the country was

subjected to suffer a lot, mainly in the british rule where they not only looted Indias wealth but also tried to destroy our cultural values, language, skills and religion. But past sixty years we have had our own elected government, our own representatives in the parliament but we have been unable to get the most out of it. India is richly diverse, diverse in the sense of religion, language, landscape, geographically, culturally, caste and many more, thus it is difficult to satisfy each and every need but in these very years we should have at least aimed and have successfully achieved the target of eradicating poverty and illiteracy from our country. Friends its unbelievable that instead of improving these things, the statistics show something else. The scenario is becoming worst. The problem is known, the web which we have tied around us is learned. But now finally we will have to get the switch into the socket. We are a young nation and this is the edge we have over all other leading nations today. Twenty first century is said to be the century of Asia, but if we want it to be remembered as Indian century then our youths have to garb the show. If we somehow are successfully able to use this opportunity, believe me we will turn tables round. This would be the most important factor in coming years Analysing the whole scenario, learning from the past , aiming at the future, today the youth of the nation will have to rise and take the responsibility to build the nation. We will have to work on a mission, a mission to bring smiles on million of faces, a mission to reorganise our country, and a mission to build our country. Kalam rightly says that building a nation

like India five areas are there which have to go in a combination, these are agriculture and food processing; infrastructure; education and healthcare; information and communication technology and leadership. We have a lot of resources which we can use effectively to build the basic infrastructure of the country. We have to build a nation where rural-urban divide is reduced to a very thin line, where agriculture, industry & service together work in symphony, where a quality of education with value is imparted to everyone, where there are proper sanitary, drinking water facilities, a nation which is free from terrorism and finally a nation which is best in the world to live and is proud of its leadership. In order to achieve this we all have to realize and set goal of a life in life; aquire and work hard to achieve, we have to work with courage and pledge to lead an honest life and we must make others aware about these things. Friends if we all realize that whatever work we do, we do the best, we are contributing and realizing the vision of a

Developed India by 2020.
