Eslers book has divided into six parts and subdivided into thirty chapters, with different maps. It has the outline history of the Western World as a story, a narrative of the people and events on the move, of a society evolving through time. It also allocated a substantial proportion to social and cultural analysis. It deals also here the Wests repeated encounters with the non-western world and also it stress not only Western influences on the rest of the world but also a significant western cultural debt to a number of non-western peoples. Esler also made a room for both traditional emphasis on conflict between classes, creeds, and nations and for treatment of that more recently explored sense of community which defines a healthy society. He also tried to pay special attention to such still sometimes neglected areas as womens history. And most especially it also features the particularly important in the pivotal 1990s, a watershed decade that could set the historical agenda of the western world for decades to come. Chapter 26, from page 644 up to page 666, covers about Second World War. As Esler stated; the Second World War was characterizes by rapid mobility, with massive offensives sweeping over three continents and two oceans. The main discussion of Esler about Second World War is to look at the underlying and immediate cause, and nature of Second World War, at the sweep of its campaigns, and at its immediate consequences. Esler also tried to trace back the pattern of aggression and appeasement that led up to the outbreak of the war. He too, outlines the early Axis victories, and the climax with the final Allied triumphs and the terrible human cost of this most costly of all war.

The book has six parts which divided into 23 chapters. It covers the history of the western world from the renaissance periods up to the present. The book is enabling us reader to become acquainted not only with European history since the Renaissance but also with the contemporary developments in many parts of the globe. The author describes here in the book the political and social institutions of Europe. He also hoped that through his book we reader will achieve better understanding of the various historical epochs. Russel Major also discuss the World War that happen in the 20th century and the modern world since 1945 here in the book. Chapter 21 from page 931 to 971 in this book tackles about World War II. Russel Major begins his discussion about the World War by discussing about the origin of the World War II, how it was declared. He also gives the causes of the war and the reason behind how other country was being involved in the war, like the Japan of Asia. He also elaborates his discussion about the World War II through discussing the War in the Pacific and the Allied peace plans. Also the result of the war was being discuss here in the book, and the problem that being face of some other country after the World War II. The authors also discuss on how the War was ended and what was role of women in during the time the war was happen. And also, the authors discuss how the war was changing the political system in Europe and also in economic.

This book has thirty Chapters with maps and graphs. History and Human Beginnings, served as a introduction of this book for us reader fully understand the origins of Humanity. This book undercover the fact that the West has never been wholly isolated from its non-westerns neighbors, who helped to shape the western heritage and with whom it now shares membership in the global community. The authors, for us to really understand the western world, made a six pictorial essay which trace back the Wests evolving perception of the non-western world. They also believed that it would help the student to understand more the Western Civilization which other author miss to discuss. Chapter 28 of this Western Civilization book covers the World War II, from pages 919 to 934. The authors provide a systematic overview of the Nazi conquest of Europe, the battle for Britain and the Invasion of the Soviet Union. They are also discussing about the Pearl Harbor as part of the many things happen during World War II and how the world after the War was ended and the effect of it. The final solution and the Holocaust of the war are also tackling by the authors, to provide more information about the Second World War. The origin, of course, of the war was never neglect to discuss by the authors and about the Grand Alliances of World War II was also tackle by the author. And most of all the defeat of Germany during war was briefly discuss by them.

The book covers the whole sweep of western history, from the Stone Age to the present period. The author organized an important part in the evolution of the western world. It also identifies the character of each great city, which the author mainly focuses his discussion, while the intermediate chapters of chronological narrative provide broader background information and historical context. This book enables us reader to acquire the historical background essential to a comprehensive understanding of our past. Chapter 24 of this Willis books from page 438 to page 458 tackle about the Second World War. Willis first to discuss about the coming of the World War II, which he begin his discussion on the Hitlers Foreign Policy and The Policy of Appeasement, in such led to the outbreak of the War. Part of the discussion of the author was to show some image about World War II. The great depression erupted in 1929 was tackled by the author, which consider one of the cause of the Second World War. The counter offensive made by the allies countries and the destruction made by the war in the world was further discuss by Willis.

This book, gives an account of the history of the Western Civilization, not of one fraction of it or the whole world. It also covers the impact of the European Civilization upon other peoples and places during the period have been a fact of the very first order. European power, European ideas, and the European way of life became the overwhelming challenge which all other civilization had to face at one time or another, as one of the authors gives some further attention. In addition, the history of the western world has become part of the history, as what the author discuss here in the book. From page 750 to page 797 in this book covers about the Second World War. The discussion of the authors, begin in the outbreak of the War. Prior to his discussion about the Second World War, he discusses the preparation of the military leaders of the western democracy. He also covers the Belligerents during the Second World War. Furthermore, the turning point of the war was discussed by one of the author of this book and about the Victory of the Grand Coalition. And finally the end of Second World War the effect of destroying system of international relations.
