SEMI-SUPERVISED
LEARNING
Chaima Laabidi & Ghada Aamira
"The semi-supervised
learning is the way most
people will learn in the future.
You have this model of how
the world works in your head
and you're refining it to
predict what you think is
going to happen in the
future".
- Mark Zuckerberg

why Semi-supervised
learning ?
It is used because getting labeled data is hard in
many ways, but it can produce considerable
improvement in learning accurancy.
Semi-supervised
learning
is an hybrid between supervised & unsupervised
learning . It uses both labeled & unlabeled data
during training .
Label data vs. unlabled
data ?
How it works ?
Since acquisition of unlabeled data is relatively
inexpensive, adding a small portion of expensive
labelled to it is overall cheap and produces
extremely great results in comparison with only
unlabelled data.
Avantages :
Cost-Efficieny .
Improve Generlization .
Addressing Data Scarcity .
Adaptability to Dynamic Enviromments .
