Think Pair and Share (public statement)
Welcome ladies and gentlemen. Good and decent people of our precinct. We’re gathered here today to learn about my
program and plans provided that I were the mayor of this province. As you all know, we all have been suffering from a
lot of inhumane and tiring conditions. It’s high time we put an end to the misery on this blessed land. Hence, Primarily, I
will start by appointing honest and good willed servants to facilitate your daily paperwork deals. Speaking of that. I will
collaborate with a specialized team to digitalize most of the paper work in order to minimize all abuses relative to
bribery or forging. No more wining or fear about being extorted for bribery or any other corrupt act. Yet, my fellow
citizens. My plan cannot see the light of day unless you be part of it. Reporting any suspicious, unlawful or immoral
activities is a must. I hereby call upon you to validate your inner virtue. The lantern of justice to shine and fade all dark
and shady acts. Besides, authorities and auditors are on your side so long as whistle blowing is validated. I will make sure
all trespassers get what they deserve but only if we co-operate. Moreover, strict laws exist, what we lack is the firm
application of them. Therefore, I have to mobilize all the cores to ensure that all unethical, corrupt, criminal or illegal
activities are fought with an iron fist and hopefully thoroughly wiped for one and one reason only. The welfare and
convenient life everyone deserves. You’re born to live a better life. Together this will be a reality not some mere words
you hear and applaud. I do appreciate your standing by my side. Your support is the source of my inspiration & strength.
