Did not become exception the federation of [pauerliftinga]: conversations about the need for the revision of discharge norms to the side of an increase already since May 2004 are conducted. All terms of presidium are unanimous in the fact that it is necessary to increase discharge norms, but here how, until there is no unanimous opinion. It is natural that I, being the senior trainer men's team command of Russia, do not can and it must not remain apart from the problems of this question. But before voicing my specific proposals, I decided to study this question. First, two Russian journals iron peace and the worlds of force, that illuminates on its pages the life of [pauerliftinga], until this theme raised. Conversations conducted only on the [pauerlifterskikh] sites: Powerlifting.ru, Russia-pf.ru, Silnyi.narod.re. On the site Of powerlifting.org.ua of the Ukraine also actively discuss changes in their norms and compare them with our norms. On the Russian forums the opinions were divided into the diametrically opposite: some - for an increase in the norms, others - categorically against an increase. I will give several statements, placed on the sites: - Norms increase so that there would be less than ms and [MSMK]. - Title that is valuable, which is small, who attained it. But perhaps valuably now title [MSMK], indeed on the championship of Russia it is good, if into 15 first places with this title you fall. Its value falls. Here it is necessary to raise, and that [pache], ms and [KMS], and the especially second. - Of course not, on the matter itself the matter is here in what Ukrainian - that norms are higher than our ..... inconveniently as that it is obtained. here and the attempt to remove problem. - Ukrainian norms are higher than our norms, beginning only from the category 90 kg. And that on 5-15 kgf of altogether only. Thought is absolutely foolish. Present reason in the fact that [pauerlifting] gives to the country of so many ms and TO [MSMK] as entire track and field sports together. They here and look slantwise at the management IPF in [Goskomsporte]. I thought that this by all is understandable. - Higher norms assume respectively higher results, and this it conducts to the intensive trainings, the best nourishment with leisure and, consequently, to more serious (or larger dosage) pharmacology and new outfitting Entire matter in the money!!! The higher the norms, the greater the revolution from sales of Khimki and [ekipy], etc - It is necessary to understand, that even ms - this is high norm, but not [fuflo] some and so, many carry out master and they conclude to be trained then you look at this master in 2-3 months and it becomes offensive for the sport. - I please you again strongly to think, on that you push trainers and occupying, increasing norms to ms. Not all will find in themselves forces to improve anything in the procedure of trainings, the methods of restoration, but simply they will change seats in chemistry. - But it can be, does have sense to raise discharge norms? They indeed are simply ridiculous. Especially this concerns norm [KMS]. Well what this candidate, if to it to ms still of kilograms 100-150?!

Here this skirmish occurs on the [pauerlifterskikh] sites, but there are no concrete, constructive proposals of any kind . In order to valuably study this question, I placed before itself the following tasks: 1. To find and to analyze an increase in the discharge norms from the very first and to the present. 2. To find and to analyze an increase in the records of Russia in [pauerliftinge]. 3. To analyze the relationship of the results, shown by Russian athletes on the championships of Russia to the results on the championships of peace and Europe. As the initial to take 6 place. 4. To analyze a quantity of athletes, who carried out norms [MSMK], ms over the years and to compare with the fulfillment in other forms of sport. For me it was possible to find all discharge norms on [pauerliftingu], even very first discharge norms of the USSR, affirmed on November 26, 1987 year. In this classification of the norms of the masters of the sport of international class it was not. Norms began from the master of the sport of the USSR. Moreover, fulfilling of norms ms and [KMS] on the sum of three exercises, but in each exercise result must be not lower than the norm of the I discharge. Fulfilling of the norms of the I and III discharges according to the results in each motion. This was the forced measure, therefore that in those times on the power triple competition came out [bodibildery] and the former weightlifters. In the weightlifters was strong delay at the press lying on the comparison with the squatting or the thrust, while in the representatives of [bodibildinga] with the high results at the press lying lagged results in the squattings or in the thrust. Clear example - on the goblet of the USSR 1988 in the category to 60 kgf conqueror became Yuri Komarov with 3 discharges. It has weak result in the squattings 135 kgf with the press 145 kgf and the thrust of [stanovoy]165[kg]. In the category to 67,5 kgf silver prize-winner was [Shavaleev] Alexander with the sum of 570 kgf, it became the master of sport, because at the press lying I could show the result of the first discharge 130 kg. But here the conqueror of the goblet of Russia Yuri [Shpikin] with the result of 585[kg] became only [vtororazryadnikom], because less than the first discharge shook on 2,5 kgf. And such paradoxes on this goblet there was much. Therefore they wanted the athletes during the trainings to be focused more greatly attention on the lagging exercises, but was not carried out MI and [KMS] for the calculation of one strong exercise. In the discharge norms of new Olympic cycle 1989-1992 appeared the norms [MSMK] and number of changes in the conditions of fulfilling the discharge n. Thus, for example, norms [KMS] were no longer on the sum of three exercises, but with the condition for the fulfillment of standards in all three exercises. Fulfillment ms was included on the sum 3- X of exercises when in each exercise the result must be not lower than the standards, established for [KMS]. Appeared the point, which made it possible to appropriate high title [MSMK] if athlete will occupy 1-3 places in the sum of triple competition on the championship of peace or Europe; the 1st place in the sum of triple competition on the superiority of peace among [yuniorov]. It is interesting to note that the norms ms practically remained without the changes, and here are norms [KMS] and discharges were diminished and it is sufficiently considerable. I am agreeable with the fact that in 1987 the discharge norms were overstated, and the need for decreasing them arose. But since then much water flowed away, the procedure of trainings far forward took a step, the technology of the fulfillment of competing exercises immeasurably grew, yes even outfitting in many youths and girls, who appear on the competitions, exists (let even in some it old and extended). To me it is not understandable, why for a period of 16 years (from 1989 through 2004 ) discharge norms do remain without the changes? Really our youths and girls nothing did add in their development? Give let us look the results of the superiority of Russia among the youths and girls in 2004 . On the superiority of Russia among the youths it appeared 84 athletes, of them showed results [MSMK] - 3, ms - 23, [KMS] - 37, 1 discharge - 8, 1 it was young. - 1, and 2 it is young. 1, In girls - more impressive results: [MSMK] - 17, ms - 23, [KMS] - 17, 1 discharge - 2 and 2 discharge - 1 sportswoman. In all came out 61 sportswomen. Yes, and the additive in the sum of triple competition - [MSMK] from 7,5[kg] to 30[kg], and ms from 10[kg] to 35 [k]. z. of 17 years barely is noticeable. If we also trace the evolution of the records of Russia on the four year old cycles, then we will see, that the records of Russia among the men in 17 years grew from 67,5[kg] in the category of 125[kg] to 245[kg] in the category of 60[kg]. In order to look the evolution of the records of Russia among the men, I took the records of Russia, installed in last year of each Olympic cycle. In 1988 the categories of 52[kg] and 56[kg], 125 and more than there were no 125[kg] on the championship of Russia and USSR. Valerie Shchedrin appeared in the category of more than 110 kgf with the weight of 124,7 kgf; therefore I placed in category its record to 125 kgf, and in the categories 52 kgf, 56 kgf and more than 125 kgf were given the results, shown on the championship of Russia on 3 February 1989 year. As evidently from table 2 increase in the records of Russia considerably anticipates an increase in the discharge norms. Certainly, someone can object, that the records of Russia not index, because them are established ones. But in each category there are the leaders, who established the greatest quantity of records in their category, this: 52 kgf - [Podpalnyy] [A]., Zhuravlev s., [Fedosienko] s. 56 kgf - Pavlov k. 60 kgf - Riazanov [V]., Sidorov a., [Andryukhin] [M]., Zazakov r. 67,5 kgf - Baranov v. 75 kgf - Baranov v., [Furazhkin] v. 82,5 kgf - [Savinykh] v., [Lekomtsev] [A]., Moore s. 90 kgf - Kuznetsov [V]., [Dernov] [A]., Tarasenko a. 100 kgf - [Lykov] [A]., Markovian [V]., [Barkhatov] M. 110 kgf - Mironov v., [Gankov] [A]., Suslov n. 125 kgf - Mironov v., [Guryanov] M., [Podtynnyy] M., [Malanichev] a. SV 125 kgf - Shchedrin [V]., [Ukraintsev] r., [Gadiev] r. Yes, these athlete- leaders, but not only they some established the records of Russia. In 17 years of the development of [pauerliftinga] of Russia in men were established 759 records of Russia 144 by athletes, and in women are established 931 records of Russia 77 by sportswomen. These data sent to me one of the most widely known extras of Europe and peace in the heavy athletics and [pauerliftinga], which lives in the Ukraine, Peter Nikolayevich was Kravtsovaya. I with the pleasure use these data in my article. Now give let us look the results of athletes, which occupied the 6th places on the championships of Russia, Europe and peace. In the brackets a quantity of athletes in the category is indicated, if them there were less than 6.

In connection with the fact that in 1988 on the championship and goblet of Russia of the weight categories of 52[kg], 56[kg] and SV there were no 125[kg] , initial results I took dated 1992. The smallest increase in the results in the category to 52[kg] - this 45[kg], but is explained this by the large scarcity of undersized athletes not only in our Russia, but also in the entire world. In all remaining weight categories addition as results, not champions, but athletes, who occupied 6 place, it is significant. And this in spite of that which in six weight categories of 11 results of our athletes is lower than world level. But it is not necessary to forget, that Russia almost by 20 years more lately began to participate in the championships of peace, than other countries. This large increase in the results of our athletes speaks , that it is necessary to increase norms. And last argument to the side of an increase in the norms: this is an increase in the quantity of those carried out norms [MSMK] and ms each year, especially in last two years. (see table 4)

If we leave norms [MSMK] and ms without the change still to one Olympic cycle, I am confident, what as long ago as 2006 of carried out [MSMK] will exceed 200, and in 2008 - for 300 athletes. For the comparison I will say that in acrobatics, where there are several varieties, in 2004 carried out ms - 200, A [MSMK] - 30 athletes. In the form of sport related to us, the heavy athletics, in 2003 ms they carried out 236 athletes, [MSMK] - 32, in 2004 ms 193 and [MSMK] - 42 athlete. Moreover the management of the federation of heavy athletics stated that in connection with a large quantity of athletes, who carried out [MSMK] in 2004, the norms will rise. I am confident, that also Korolev sport - to the track and field sports even in the sleep did not dream the fulfillment of this quantity [MSMK] and ms. Thus, summing up the sums, it is possible to say that the norms [MSMK] and ms in 18 years of the development of [pauerliftinga] increased so little, and the results of [pauerlifterov] grew so much that boldly it is possible to speak about the degradation of these norms. But you know what to degrade - this means, gradually deteriorating, to lose its valuable qualities and to come into the decline. The moral value of titles [MSMK] and ms falls, and this is not amazing, indeed carried out norm [MSMK] it was until 1995 little, everyone knew them into the person and they was proud by them. Now so there is much them, that I even do not manage to track, who carried out [MSMK] in the zone of the Urals and Volga Region. You will look: within 2001 - 2004 period carried out norm [MSMK] 371 athlete. Let of them be the carried out 150 men. It would seem, with this quantity of athletes, who have the high title of the master of the sport of international class and who are actually prepared to come out for international level, must be rigid competition for the entry into men's team command of Russia. Moreover competition in each weight category on 5-6 people. But in the reality, on the goblet of Russia 2004 the competition was only in 5

weight categories of 11 and as rule, only among two athletes.
