Fund Raising—4
Date: 26.04.2014 Time: 8AM—11PM & 5PM—8PM
Activities Performed Today:
Today I visited twenty houses for fund raising in the morning & at the evening. I requested to these
houses to give me the old but fit to be used/serviceable cloths for the slum dwellers. But some of the
houses assured me that they if they had any old but useful clothes, they would surely give me these.
Today, I abled to raise five hundred and fifty rupees only and some old but usable cloths.
Observation Related to the Agency Function or Related Institutional Functioning:
My NGO supervisor instructed me to do the task at my locality and in the two sessions as morning and at
the evening because of hot weather.
Teamwork:
No teamwork had done today & today’s task was done by me individually.
Assigned Tasks (Which Stage and Progress So Far Etc.):
Today the duty of fund raising in my locality was assigned me by my NGO supervisor.
Observations Regarding Client System and Service Delivery:
Today I visited my well-known houses for fulfilling my duty or task. They wish to know about the
function of my NGO & MSW course. They showed their interest in my work. But today I went to fund
raising at my locality. I raised fund for comprehensive and supportive skill development and
empowerment of women, especially for the training of the women of the self help groups. Some houses of
my area did not pay any interest of fund raising to me. Many of those houses raised the question of
justification of giving donation at my NGO.
Administrative Assignments:
No administrative assignment was done today but I prepared a report of today’s work after returning to
the NGO and submitted it to the NGO supervisor for checking. He returned me it after checking.
