We can approximately match the target PPM by changing G9 to J9. This method is not too flexible in terms of achieving best results. But for a starter, it s a boon. You don t have to buy scale. Just take 1 ml measure and you are ready to mix. The Second method I explain is discrete in natur You have to buy every salt and mix to achieve the target nutrient formula. This can give best results Disclaimer: Use this chart at your own risk. The above nutrients are not specifically made for hydroponics. I have not yet tested this and will publish my test

By varying values mentioned above in yellow, one can achieve the target PPM equirement. Change the values above to se the result in the below table. The above quantity of salts are calculated for 1 Litre o f water. Nutrients must be prepared i multiples of litres, say 50L so that salts can be weighed more accurately.
Salt quality note: Please note that there are different grades of salts available in the market. Basic grade is calld agricultural grade which we cant use for hydroponics. The next grade is Technical grade which we are supposed to use. Always we need to buy branded proucts in sealed pack as far as possible. Refer datasheets and make sure content and purity is printed. These are required for calculation. Chelates are available as EDTA and DTPA. Ava Chemicals **Ammonium Molybdate has one more flavour - (NH4)6Mo7O24*4H2O. If we use this, the above calculation varies a bit.
