Rules and Conditions 1. 2. 3. 4. All events are conducted under the rules of the Piping and Dancing Assn. of NZ Inc. In each age group, championships and merit awards count towards Most Points trophies. No championship will be awarded if there are fewer than five competitors. In the event of insufficient competitors for the following events, the alternate dances will be danced: Highland Reel Open Reel OTulloch Open Reel OTulloch Under 16 Highland Reel Under 12 Restricted Highland Reel 5. All trophies are to be returned in good repair by 9 am on the day of competitions. Full replacement cost will be charged for all trophies not returned and cost of any repairs will also be charged. In the event of a tie for most cup points, aggregate marks will be used as stated in Rule 13. Entry money must accompany entries. Please check entries before mailing. Entries may be emailed but all fees may be posted or paid before competitor commences dancing on the day. Local Competitors must reside in the following parts of the Dunedin City Council: Mosgiel Ward; Taieri Ward; Saddle Hill Ward; Green Island Ward. Restricted events may be entered only by those competitors who have not won that particular dance at any time.
