08/03-09/05- Quest International Flavors, Owings Mill, Maryland Title: Liquid and Dry Chemical Compounder\ Batchmaker 1. Duties: Manufactured liquid food flavors through chemical compounding, homogeniz ations, filtrations, and high pressure reactors. Manufactured powdered food flav ors, using pressurized holding and cooking tanks, and cyclone atomizer spray dry ers. These flavors are used by a wide variety of nationally known food, beverage , and pharmaceutical corporations. Duties also included the packaging of these f lavors either manually using centrifugal pumps and portable scales, or mass prod uction, using a high speed computerized filling machine and capper. Responsible for the labeling of all products and corresponding HAACP paperwork, as well as f ollowing the strictest GMP requirements. I also was responsible for training mos t of the new temporary employees, and associate batchmakers, through a series of training seminars, and in practice on the floor. Operated both stand up, and si t down forklifts for the purpose of transporting raw materials and finished pack ages for shipment.
