I am a qualified care worker with more than 2 years of experience. I take pride in providing
support to adults and children using a strength-based approach. I’m a highly ethical professional
who takes the best interest of people with expertise in providing support and care work.
Competent in creating an inspiring team environment with an open communication culture, and
also proficient in delivering problem-solving techniques, and making appropriate referrals. I've
got a proven track record of working with children and families, and adept in conflict resolution,
and the ability to communicate appropriately and effectively, verbally and in writing with families,
and other professionals, ensuring language is accessible to all. Experienced in time
management efficiently and effectively.

EXPERIENCE
Organisation – VURANDA CLINIC (November 2021 – November 2023)
Job Title – Social Care Assistant
 Providing personal care including showering, baths, shaving and oral hygiene and
supporting and administering medication as per company policies and procedures.
 Supporting people with mobility issues and transfers using appropriate equipment and
preparation of daily meals and support with feeding and hydration.
 Providing an efficient and effective service to adults, children and their families, ensuring
that the needs of the service users are professionally assessed and that relevant
interventions are provided where needed, in a timely way.
 Providing company: chatting and sharing news
 Involvement with writing residents’ care plans
 Providing information to family members regarding the care plan
 Ensuring that the resident’s needs and wishes are met
 Working with other health and social care professionals to provide holistic care
