Announcement on the appointment of EDAs next Chief Executives Tracey Anang, EDAs new Chair says: On behalf of EDAs Board members, I am pleased to announce the appointment to the post of Chief Executive on a job share basis between Liane Burn and Aaron Dryden. We wish them every success in this joint role and are looking forward to working together in the future. This also means that we are announcing the retirement of Barbara Litchfield, our current Chief Executive, who has worked for EDA for over 23 years. Barbara was EDA's first worker and set up the organisation in 1988 and has overseen its growth and development in that time. On behalf of Board members and all her colleagues, past and present, I would like to thank Barbara for all her hard work and to wish her all the best for her future plans. Liane Burn, EDAs Chief Executive Designate says: I would like to say thank you to the Board for offering me this opportunity and to say how pleased I am to be working with them and alongside Aaron as Co Chief Executive. We are both fully committed to continuing Barbaras work and to build on EDAs established reputation to maintain and develop EDAs services. Having worked at EDA for some years I know that everyone working at EDA, in whatever role has a huge commitment to the organisation and a wealth of knowledge and expertise. I am looking forward to working with colleagues and partners, and sharing that knowledge to take EDA forward to a strong future. liane@e-d-a.org.uk Aaron Dryden, EDAs Chief Executive Designate says: I am delighted to be appointed to the position of Chief Executive, and am pleased EDAs Board were able to appoint me alongside Liane to share this role. Having worked at EDA for over 6 years I value the talent, commitment and enthusiasm of my colleagues, and it is this that Liane and I will be seeking to preserve and develop in the future.
