WARNING!

Working on the cab tilting mechanism disables

the integral safety functions. Follow the
instructions carefully and always use the special
tools specified. If the instructions are not
followed, there is a risk of the cab falling back
and causing personal injury. When tilting the
cab, the engine must be turned off, the parking
brake applied and the gearbox should be in
neutral. If you have to tilt the cab with the
engine running, make sure that the gearbox is in
neutral. Check that the gear lever cannot catch
on anything when tilting. No loose objects or
heavy equipment should remain in the cab
during tilting. Do not tilt the cab if the ground
slopes more than 10%. Never remain in front of
or behind the cab during tilting. Always tilt the
cab fully until it falls past the centre of gravity
and into the end position. Position the pump
valve in the lowering position when the cab is
fully tilted.

Tilt the cab. See 18-65 Cab tilting > Cab tilt
system.
