Caramelos de cianuro is an alternative rock band originated in Caracas, venezuela.

It was founded in 1989 by Asier Cazalis, Luis Barrios, Miguel Angel Gonzalez and Pablo Martinez. Is one of the Venezuelan groups with more experience and recognition both nationally and internationally. In 1992 he made his first EP by CNR Disc 4 songs: "Nadando a travs de la Galaxia", "Tu Mam te va a Pegar", "Bruja" y "Las Paticas de la Abuela".; In 1993 he recorded the first LP story for adults which includes the 4 tracks on the EP and 6 new songs. In 1996, with Asier Cazalis, Michelangelo Pablo Gonzalez Martinez and released their second album, Harakiri City with songs like El Martillo, Cloroformo, Imaginar, Interpol y especialmente Cancin Suave (despite No. 2).

In 1998, the group suffered its second change in their formation, before the departure of original drummer, Paul Martinez, and the arrival of his replacement Alfonso Tosta In 2000, CDC released their third album, Miss Mujerzuela, with great success in Venezuela, and memorable songs for the audience as Asunto Sexual, El Flaco, Las Estrellas, La Llama and especially Veronica. In 2001, Miss Mujerzuela was already a certified platinum album. The album is produced with the label Latin World, ensuring a more international. By 2002 the group released the album Frisbee, which continues the success with miss mujerzuela with songs like Las Notas, La Terraza, El Mar, Surfer Girl, El ltimo Polvo y Sanitarios. In April 2005, Luis Barrios confirmed his departure from the band again, this time permanently. Is replaced by Pavel Tello, apparently in a smooth and without roces. Between August and September 2006 came the release of the album Flor de Fuego with 10 songs, where Pepsi buys 150,000 copies earning multi-platinum in Venezuela. After several months of leaving only copies purchased by Pepsi. The promotional single, as a serpiente was released on July 17 that year in Venezuelan stations, gaining wide acceptance by the public, reaching to debut at # 10 of the most important card in this country (Record Report). They also emphasize the songs on this album No Eres T, Baby Cohete y Delineador. On August 10, 2008, it announced the "apparent" Alfonso Tosta output of the band due to differences with others integrantes. The band then entered the drummer Dario Adames. Caramelos de cianuro (2010) in the 2009 promotional single Rubia Sol Morena Luna was well received by the public, becoming the first in the list Pop / Rock Record Report.
