Today we will learn about Simple Present Tense. What is Simple Present Tense? Well , You can see
and read the material of Simple Present Tense in the next slide.

The simple present is a verb tense with two main uses. We use the simple present tense when an
action is happening right now, or when it happens regularly.

Learning objectives :
1. Students are able to ask about someone's habit.
2. Students are able to tell habits.
3. Students are able to ask about behaviours.
4. Students are able to tell behaviours.
5. Students are able to ask about functions of something.
6. Students are able to tell function of something..

The forms are :


1. Positive Sentence
S + V1 s/es + O
Note : He/She/It + V1 s/es
Examples :
1. She cooks fried rice in the kitchen
2. You always go to school by bus.
3. They play football every Sunday afternoon.

Subject : I/you/we/they + V1

2. Negative Sentence
He/she/it + does not (doesn't) + V1
I/you/we/they + do not (don't) + V1
Example :
1. She doesn't cook fried rice in the kitchen

3. They don't play football every Sunday afternoon
