milestones
Everyone has a milestone, at least one in his life. It can be a good or bad turning point, and it
can change your mind or your thinking about something. It can break your dream or take you to this dream. I
have many milestones in my life, but the best one was when I was awarded “the ideal student” from my prep
school.
I won this award because I was a hard-working student. I do my best in the class and study at
home. I participated in many activities and all competitions to explore myself. The student who can win this
award should get full marks in all subjects that weren’t easy to get, should participate in all activities and
achieve the highest score, should have a good relationship with all students at school, and teachers should
recommend this student to this award.
The award made the competition very hard and may be impossible to reach. One of my
competitors was very popular and had a good relationship with all the students and teachers at school. I was
lucky because my score in school subjects was higher than theirs, especially math. The math exams were
always hard and difficult to get a high score, but I can get the full mark easily as I study and love math.
I was lucky because I have many skills that made teachers choose me to represent my school
outside. This award is presented at the last week of every year. That wasn’t the first time to participate in this
competition. It was the third year to try to achieve this award. I learned from my previous years and gained
much experience to win this award.
Finally, I was lucky to have this because that was the first time to be spotted, and I made good
use of it in my school. Many people wished to have that same turning point.
