GRADUATE LEVEL EXAMINATION

Staff selection commission conducts a combined preliminary examination in the month of February every year for the following posts. Sub-inspectors in CBI, Sub-inspector in Delhi police,Assistant enforcement officers, Divisional Accountants/Auditors/Junior Accountants. Age limit: 20 to 27 years

Physical standards
Physical requirements for the posts of subinspectors in CBI: Height : men 165cms, women 150 cms. Chest : 76 cms with expansion (there shall be no such requirements in cases of female candidates.

SCHEME OF EXAMINATION
Staff selection commission will hold a combined preliminary examination for selecting candidature for the Main examination. For the posts mentioned earlier papers are part A: General intelligence&general Awareness part B : Arithmetic both A &B will be of objective type.

Syllabus
General intelligence : it would include both verbal and non-verbal type. General awareness:questions in this component will be aimed at testing the candidates general awareness of the environment around him and its application to society. Arithmetic: it include questions on problem relating to mathematical ability.

Scheme of main exam

Main exam consist of two parts part I : Written Examination part II : Personality Test. Written Examination.English, language comprehension Part III communication skill and writing ability test. Part IV General studies

BANK EXAM
Age limit :21-30 years. Minimum education: degree from recognized university. No of attempts: no candidate shall be permitted to compete more than three times at the examination. Plan of examination: The written examination will be both objective & descriptive.

Bank Clerical Exam

Categories : Clerk, Typist , Steno,Data entry operators,Telephone operators, Hindi assistant,Telex operator, Agricultural clerks. Age limit: 18 28 years, Minimum education: Degree of a recognized university in any discipline. Paper I : General awareness, English language,quantitative aptitude, test of reasoning. Paper II : English essay,precise writing compression/business/office correspondence. Paper III: economical&social problems.

RAILWAY EXAMINATION
Technical and non-technical cadre exam Management cadre of the Indian railway consist of class I & II gazetted officers. Direct recruitment to the class I railway service is made through the union public service commission on the basis of annual competitive examination.

CATEGORY
Traffic Apprentice : 18-30 years of age, Education : graduation Assistant station master: 18-30 years of age, graduation. Enquiry cum- reservation clerk : 18-30 years of age, preference to those know typing with 30 wpm per second. Office clerk/accounts clerk : 18-30 years of age, matriculation with minimum 50% marks. Junior accounts Assistant:18-30 years of age,preference to those,who know typing with 30 wpm per second.

METHOD OF SELECTION
The written test may be generally in conformity with educational standard prescribed for the post including English,Arithmetic,General knowledge &General intelligence. The test may be subjective-cum objective/ multiple choice. Candidate should posses knowledge of current events & matter of general interest particularly related to India Indian railways.

METHOD OF SELECTION Final selection may be based on the total marks obtained in the written test and interview. The final appointment of the candidates will be subject to their being found medically fit in appropriate medical classification of railway. INSURANCE CORPORTION
A competitive examination for recruitment of assistant administration officers is generally held once in an year. Age limit : 21 to 28 years on April 1 of the year of examination. Minimum educational qualification : Bachelors / masters degree from a recognized Indian university with minimum of 50% marks in the degree.

NATIONAL DEFENCE ACADEMY EXAMINATION

Examination is conducted by the Union Public service commission for admission to Army,Navy and Air force wings of NDA. The examination is held twice an year in the months of April / May , September / October for admission Total no of posts will be 400 approximately

CATEGORY
Age limit :male candidates must have attained of the age 16 years and must not have attained age of 19 yrs. Condition :the candidates must not marry until training is over. Educational qualification : 12 std class pass Plan of examination i)written examination, ii) intelligence and personality test of candidates who qualifies in written exam.
